Life and Liberty Hangs in the Balance

Spotted this video presentation of a painting done by Jon McNaughton over at Nice Deb and it literally moved me to tears!



I weep for what we have lost here in America - the deep knowledge of the Bible and the heritage of our Christian faith.

I weep for what we are losing at such an accelerated pace - our freedoms and liberty - due to the tyrannical government we have.

I weep for those who have shoved God and His Son, Jesus Christ, out of their lives.

I weep for those who have never taken Jesus' offer of salvation seriously, and therefore ignore it and do not accept it.

I weep for our children who are now living in an America that I never thought I would ever see in my lifetime. I could go on and on. But most regular readers here could easily add to this list.

However, I also have tears of joy because I know who I am in Jesus Christ. I know that millions of saved Christians also know who they are in Christ and are evangelizing across the globe - including through the vehicle of the Internet.

Jesus told us that a sign of the coming Rapture would be both a falling away from the faith (heresy, apostasy, false religions, atheism etc. -all of which are happening today) as well as the Gospel being spread throughout the world. There has been no time in history - other than the computer age - where the Gospel could literally be spread throughout the entire world in seconds! How many people have read the Gospel message of Jesus Christ in just one day, accepted it and have also accepted the fact that the Word of God, the Bible, is ultimate Truth? We may never know the answer to that question on this side of heaven.

What a beautiful painting! Jesus is the center of the scene, and rightfully so.

The Power of the People and Their VOTES!

I wanted to use "the Scott heard round the world" quip as my title this morning, but that's already been used by some other bloggers. What happened in Massachusetts yesterday is absolutely stunning! It shows that no matter WHAT the progressive Marxists in Washington D.C. want to do to us, it's the Power of the PEOPLE, and their VOTES, that will thwart their idiotic and dangerous efforts to ruin this country.

I participated in a poll over at the Fox News Channel website. Take a look at the tally of votes as of 1/20/10 at 7:38 a.m. PT:

The pollster was too kind. He/she didn't offer the opportunity to check "F"! How many of the 28,131 voters (92%!!!) would have checked off a FAILING GRADE for Obama? I would think that it would be most. People are ANGRY AND FED UP with ObamaFRAUD, PeLIARsi, ReiDUNCE, and the rest of the Marxist loons in Congress and the Senate.

Wait until November 4, 2010!! If liberal/independent Massachusetts voters felt this strong about the awful policies that Obama and Congress are trying to shove down our throats here in America, just imagine what the rest of the state constituents must be thinking!! Look out! A SEA CHANGE in Congress is a'comin!

America Needs a Mother Very, Very Badly

Do you recall that great quote from little Maggie in the movie Hook? After Captain Hook was being rude and behaving so poorly,the little six-year-old daughter of Peter Banning (who we all know, of course, is the grown-up Peter Pan)realized what was ultimately missing in this very bad man's life - a mother! She said that memorable line, "You need a mother very, very badly!" It was her way of expressing the fact that Hook's self-centeredness, greed, crudeness, dangerous actions and threats were probably all being acted out by him because he was in desperated need of a mother. But Maggie wasn't thinking about just any mother. She meant A GOOD MOTHER - similar to the mommy that little Maggie herself fortunately got to grow up with in her own young life.

After reading a wonderful essay written by Neil Brian Goldberg over at Voting Female Speaks, Maggie's line from the movie Hook came to mind.

I truly believe that America needs a mother in the presidency - very, very badly. But not just any mother! Nope! America needs a mother like Sarah Palin!

My computer is acting very badly right now! LOL! Well - not really funny but when these things happen sometimes you have to restart your computer. That is what I will do. Sarah Palin for President campaign begins

Confucius say: “It is often following crowd who push leader forward.”

…and so the Sarah Palin for President campaign begins, but there are some issues which must be addressed right off.

Why does there appear to be so much animosity toward Sarah Palin?

Well, there’s no denying that Sarah fought and defeated the powerful, corrupt, and deeply entrenched “old boy” establishment, bringing decency and benevolence into the state government. Who does she think she is?

…then Sarah Palin twisted the arms of the struggling oil companies, forcing them to pay thousands of dollars to each Alaskan family — how dare she rock the boat.

She ran a clean administration, and despite every sinister and desperate attempt, via contrived ethics charges by pathetic political wannabes, to create a false appearance of impropriety, Sarah’s record remains clean. (All the more reason to be suspicious of her…)

She also gave birth to a down-syndrome baby. Realizing what an extra burden such a child would be, she could have so easily disposed of the problem, what with her political career and the rest of the family’s needs to consider, it certainly would have been understandable, but this does highlight one of Sarah’s major flaws — she has a true heart, not very PC.

Sarah lacks experience. This is true. She has no idea how to work those sleazy back-room deals for suitcases full of dirty money.

She will not be skilled at slipping those secret daggers in the backs of those who count on her to save the country. Not good at lying, she cannot be bribed, not selfish enough; even so naïve as to believe in goodness … and … God — oh no — no no, absolutely a big problem.

It must also be admitted, and there is no way round it, that her detractors on TV have indeed made some incontrovertible points. No matter what your thoughts on this campaign, you cannot deny the absolute facts they have established about Sarah Palin, and these are:

No matter how you dress up a lewd, vulgar, tasteless pig; even with a stunning red suit, a sharp hairdo, and attractive glasses — even if you put perfect lipstick on her — it will not be Sarah Palin — it will still just be Tina Fay, selling herself. There is no getting around this particular point of truth.



The honest, courageous, intelligent, noble, and able Sarah Palin remains unchangingly our Sarah, God’s offering to America, perhaps our last chance for a true incorruptible leader, with angel fire in her eyes, and Divine lightning in her fists.

…and the pathetic dressed up pig remains, exactly and only what it is, lewd, vulgar, bought and sold, and as far removed from Sarah Palin, as the West is from the East.

So how do we begin this campaign — “Sarah Palin for President”?

The first thing to realize is that all of our problems originate from some form of corruption — we will not have that problem with Sarah.

There are plenty of righteous geniuses to hire for advice. All that is needed is someone who reveres and cherishes the real America, based on the Constitution, with the ultimate purpose of freedom, prosperity, and security, making the best choices after honestly considering such advice.

Next, being sure of what we want, we simply begin this “Sarah for President” campaign.

We know that money is necessary, so, as a show of faith and solid intention, take ten or twenty dollars — today — and stash it away for the “Money Bomb” moment which is on its way. On that Money Bomb day — faithfully pull that bill out and send it in! By placing that money aside now — we have begun our campaign.

Next, begin to spread the word. The Sarah Palin Campaign for President has begun. Set aside your donations, spread the word, form local groups ready to work for her in the near future, defend her good name at every turn, shun the likes of David Litterman, his sponsors, and the network which collaborate with the verbal rape of young women (Sarah’s daughters).

Start making signs, get your bumper sticker, start raising potential donors, start working as if the election were in three months, and don’t let up.

There is talk that Sarah will run on a third party — what shall it be called — why of course — THE TEA PARTY.

Work, talk, donate time money and materials. Realize what is actually at stake and fight. Fight as if freedom itself depended on it.

Most of all, become a prayer warrior, and beg God for the future of America.

Re-ignite your angry voice of moral outrage, and stop talking about “Taking Back Your Country.”

Talk about “Keeping Your Country,” it is already yours. Saying you “want it back” is a subtle admission of surrender — that you have lost, that your country has been taken. We do not want to “Take America Back,” we, and Sarah, intend to keep our Country — it is already ours, and it will remain ours.

Every desk, every computer, every building, vehicle, government plane, desk, chair, the pens they write with and the paper they write on, all are the property of the people of these United States. The government owns nothing. It produces nothing, and has no claim whatsoever to anything. It rules only with our permission, and derives all that it uses from the labors and donations of the American people. All else is illegal, all else it treason against the people who fund and build everything in and of this nation.

Sarah Palin knows this, that is why she is our President-to-be, and that is why we the people who still have eyes to see and ears to hear, do now, with a great passion for freedom, and with unbounded faith, gratitude and reverence for the original Constitution of the United States of America — we the people do hereby declare the beginning of the unstoppable, victorious, and blessed by God…

A Question

A few moments ago, Glenn Beck told his listeners that he has received numerous death threats. Two years ago, when his tour bus was on the way to the next location (for his annual comedy tour), one of the security people reminded Glenn that there are crazy people out there - intent on killing him.

This was happening before the monumental success of his radio show, his Fox News Channel TV show (he was previously "hidden" on CNN's "Headline News" channel), the success of the launching of the 9.12 Project, the success of the TEA Party revolution, and the success of his book "Common Sense."

Now, we can only imagine the ratcheting up of death threats against him due to the enormous success he now enjoys.

This morning, Glenn spoke about why he does what he does. He claims not to do it for money. He claims not to do it for fame. He claims that he does it because he must share the TRUTH about what is happening here in America.

I believe him.

He has probably earned enough money already to quit and allow his family to live comfortably for the rest of his life. So why keep on keepin' on?

Because he must share the TRUTH about what is happening here in America.

Glenn humbly shared that he has had many sleepless nights, worrying about what is happening to our beloved Republic. He prayed a lot - and continues to pray about all that is transpiring now. Why?

Like him or not, he has helped awaken many people out of their stupor from the Obamamania matrix. Americans are now learning the truth about this bogus POTUS and they are willing to stand up at town hall meetings and oppose the ObamaSCARE HELLcare legislation. My day turned out to be busier than I had expected. BRISBANE, Australia - The House has held a closed session for the first time in 25 years and apparently discussed a hotly contested surveillance bill.

Republicans had requested privacy for what they termed "an honest debate" on the new Democratic eavesdropping measure.

Conspiracy theorists around the world have filled many pages of blogs and emails with theories as to why the public was prevented to hear what their elected representatives said and heard.

That is the nature of secrets: those "kept in the dark" want to know and in the absence of knowledge, seek answers.

Writers suggested that the special closed session of the U.S. House of Representatives discussed a lot more than the pending security surveillance provisions.

Last week's session was only the fourth time in 176 years that Congress has closed it's doors to the public.

Word has begun leaking from last weeks special, closed-door session of the United States House of Representatives.

Theorists wrote "Not only did members discuss new surveillance provisions as was the publicly stated reason for the closed door session, they also discussed: The imminent collapse of the U.S. economy to occur by September 2008, the imminent collapse of US federal government finances by February 2009, the possibility of Civil War inside the USA as a result of the collapse and advance round-ups of "insurgent U.S. citizens" likely to move against the government.

Also theorised was the detention of those rounded-up at "REX 84" camps constructed throughout the USA and the possibility of retaliation against members of Congress for the collapses and the location of "safe facilities" for members of Congress and their families to reside during expected massive civil unrest

Other answers included "the necessary and unavoidable merger of the United States with Canada" (for its natural resources) and with Mexico (for its cheap labor pool), the issuance of a new currency - THE AMERO - for all three nations as the proposed solution to the coming economic Armageddon.

A rumor is swirling around the Internet that an inglorious end to the U.S. economy is imminent. Unlike previous rumors to this effect, this one carries the weight of recent events in the financial realm and has many believing the rumor will come to pass.

Let’s examine some of the claims being made: On March 18, 2008, a “closed door” session of Congress was held for only the fourth time in history. According to House Rule XVII, clause 9, it is forbidden for members of the U.S. House of Representatives to reveal the discussions held behind those doors. The penalty for leaking such information includes loss of seniority, fines, reprimand, censure or expulsion. According to news sources, one purpose of the meetings was to discuss new surveillance techniques to be used by U.S. Homeland Security. Rumors continue to swirl as to what the other topics of discussion took place in that meeting.

According to the Australia.TO newspaper, as reported in the May 2008 Last Trumpet Newsletter (LTM), several congressmen were so incensed about what was discussed behind those doors that they were compelled to leak the contents of the meeting. Following is what is rumored to have been discussed: Imminent collapse of the U.S. economy by September 2008; imminent collapse of the U.S. Government finances by February 2009; possibility of civil war within the U.S. resulting from the collapse; detainment of “insurgent U.S. citizens” in anticipation of their moving against the government; the potential for violent action taken by citizens against members of Congress due to the collapses; the merger of the U.S. economy with those of Canada and Mexico as a solution to the collapse; the introduction of a new tri-national currency called the “AMERO” as another economic solution. On the 13th day of March 2008, a rare "closed door" session was held by the United States House of Representatives. It was only the fourth time in the history of the United States that the House of Representatives closed the doors and met in absolute secrecy. Thus, those who were elected to represent the people of the United States would not allow the people to know what they were meeting about. Furthermore, House Rule XVII, clause 9, forbids the Representatives from revealing what was discussed. The penalty for leaking such information includes loss of seniority, fine, reprimand, censure, or expulsion! What went on behind those closed doors where every member was sworn to absolute secrecy, to always conceal and never reveal? We know that the only reason for secrecy is to hide evil. The news media said almost nothing about the secret conclave, but it was mentioned only that one of the items being discussed was the new surveillance techniques that are going to used by the U.S. Government to watch every American. After diligently searching for more information, I finally found what I was looking for in an Australian newspaper. The story appeared in Australia.TO from Brisbane, Australia. The article stated that ABC News via WCPO confirmed that Congress members were forbidden to talk about what went on in their secret meeting. Several of the Representatives, however, were so furious and concerned about the future of the country that they began leaking info. Here are some of the things that were reportedly leaked out regarding the secret meeting: Discussion regarding the imminent collapse of the U.S. economy to occur by September 2008 - The imminent collapse of the U.S. Government finances by February 2009 - The possibility of Civil War inside the United States as a result of the collapse - The advance round-ups of "insurgent U.S. citizens" likely to move against the government - The detention of those rounded up at REX 84 camps constructed throughout the United States - The possibility of public retaliation against members of Congress for the collapses - The location of safe facilities for members of Congress and their families to reside during massive civil unrest - the necessary and unavoidable merger of the United States with Canada and Mexico - The issuance of a new currency called the AMERO for all three nations as an economic solution. (20) Obviously, there is no documentary proof for the above as the meetings were secret. The information, however, does fit the profile of what is going on around us. Our Almighty Saviour is ultimately in charge. Time will tell if these things are so, and time is running out! I have heard about this "Illuminati" before. In the past, I just could not believe that it was plausible. In fact, I dismissed the hand sign that they were claiming was the "Illuminati New World Order" fellowship sign. It resembles the Texas Longhorns sports team(s) hand sign. There are photos of many U.S. leaders (including both former president Bushes and Bush 43's daughters) holding up their hands with that sign. Coincidence? I don't really know.

But now, with all that is happening in our government - where the usurper president and the Congress is going AGAINST what "We the People" are saying - causes me to think that there is something VERY SINISTER going on in our nation.

There is so much information to absorb, it can make the average person's head explode.

I have been aware of the "Alinsky method," the "Cloward-Piven method of orchestrated crisis," and how the media squelched a lot of the evil and negative information surrounding Obama to get him elected. Some of the people - not all, of course - were bamboozled into voting for this dangerous AND MOST PROBABLY - INELIGIBLE - man.

Who would have ever thought that such things would happen in the United States of America? Don't we have checks and balances to prevent such a takeover as this?

Since our three main branches of government have failed us (and are failing to adhere to the will of the people), the only recourse that we now have is for We the People to rise up and take action. I am hoping and praying that it doesn't lead to a civil war. It very well might reach the boiling point and happen. I hope that the formation of the NGJ will work and expel the neo-Marxists from our government for good!

Just yesterday, I thought it strange that Obama met with leaders in Canada. For what purpose? Could it have something to do with Anonymous' post here?

There is much more that I would like to share and discuss about Anonymous' post. Some may dismiss it as a wild and false conspiracy theory. Others may see that what was allegedly discussed in secret by Congress in May, 2008 as truth. Others may not know what to believe (include me in that category right now.) However, I don't see any reason why this can't be discussed with all viewpoints getting a hearing.

I am taking my dog for a walk. Then I will be back with a new blogment about Anonymous' post. I have much more to share (including a portion in Dr. David Jeremiah's book - What In The World Is Going On? - 10 Prophetic Clues You Cannot Afford to Ignore) that speaks about America's moral decay being the ultimate cause of America destroying itself in the last days. It's quite compelling reading so stay tuned.

Thanks, Anonymous, for your comment. I do have a few questions, though.

Since several Congress members back in May 2008 are not currently in office now, do you think that they are speaking out (anonymously, of course) to warn the people of what they had learned?

Also, since all of the new Republican and existing House members of the Congress voted against the recent StimuWASTE bill, were they all not privy to the secret information discussed in that special meeting? Or, did they go against the vote because they genuinely knew it was bad legislation? Did it not matter because it was known that the Republicans didn't have enough votes to prevent passage?

Three RINOS in the Senate are mostly responsible for this awful bill being passed. All three were in Congress back in May 2008. Is there a distinct connection here?

It is hard for me to believe that conservatives would let this happen in Congress. In the first StimuWASTE bill passage by the House, 11 NEW Democratic Congressmen (most considered as "blue dog" conservatives) voted AGAINST IT. Therefore, they were definitely not aware of the secret meeting in May 2008.

When the bill went back to the House, I think only 8 Democrats voted against it.

There are so many questions that need to be asked - with so few answers that are in any way satisfying. It makes me feel helpless as a U.S. Natural Born Citizen that the U.S. Supreme Court refuses to hear a case regarding Obama's ineligibility to be POTUS. It makes me feel unheard when I read that calls to Congress, urging them all to VOTE AGAINST the StimuWASTE bill were running 1,000 to 1 - yet - it was passed anyway. It makes me feel that I can't trust ANYONE in government anymore - especially when Cheney did not allow for objections when the Electoral votes for Obama were counted and cast in Congress.

The presidents (both Bush and now Obama) will not hear or listen to the people.

The Congress will not hear nor listen to the people.

The U.S. Supreme Court and several judges in states across the country will not hear nor listen to the people filing lawsuits.

Where does this leave us as a nation?

With both comments in mind, read what Dr. David Jeremiah wrote in Chapter 6 - Does America Have A Role In Prophecy?:

America Will Be Infected with Moral Decay

The average lifespan of all the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history has been about two hundred years. During that two-century span, each of these nations progressed through the following sequence: from bondage to spiritual faith; from spiritual faith to great courage; from courage to liberty; from liberty to abundance; from abundance to complacency; from complacency to apathy; from apathy to dependence; and from dependence back into bondage.35

Where are we right now in America? I think that during the election cycle, many Americans were living "in the midst of the apathy to dependence." Their apathy led to them falling for the hoax being spouted by Barack Hussein Obama - the "one" who repeated the phrases "change we can believe in" and "hope." Trouble is, his followers and voters didn't pay any attention to the man's past associations. Nor, did they see that the "change" he was presenting was a neo-Marxist bag of dependence and "nanny state" existence that the people thought would satisfy their every need. Instead, we are headed back into bondage - similar to the bondage we were under until we declared our independence from Britain.

Dr. Jeremiah continues:

At what point is America in this cycle? Popular blogger La Shawn Barber answered this question in an article titled, "America on the Decline." She wrote:

In The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, author Edward Gibbon discusses several reasons for the great civilization's demise, including the undermining of the dignity and sanctity of the home and the decay of religion. America has been compared to the Roman Empire in secular and religious ways. Regardless of its ultimate legacy, America is a civilization on the decline. A couple of centuries from now (or sooner), someone will lament the loss of a once-great civilization that brought prosperity to the world and tried to make it safe for democracy. The glory that was the United States will lay in ruins, brought down not by terrorists but its own debauchery and complacency.36

Barber's analysis is right on the money with one exception: given the present situation in our world, another "couple of centuries" for America is not in the equation. Nevertheless, her analysis is perceptive, and she continues it by referencing an expert from decades past. In 1947, forward-looking sociologist Dr. Carle Zimmerman wrote a text called Family and Civilization. He identified eleven "symptoms of final decay" observable in the fall of both the Greek and Roman civilizations. See how many characterize our society:

1. No-fault divorce.

2. "Birth Dearth"; increased disrespect for parenthood and parents.

3. Meaningless marriage rites/ceremonies.

4. Defamation of past national heroes.

5. Acceptance of alternative marriage forms.

6. Widespread attitudes of feminism, narcissism, hedonism.

7. Propagation of anti family sentiment.

8. Acceptance of most forms of adultery.

9. Rebellious children.

10. Increased juvenile delinquency.

11. Common acceptance of all forms of sexual perversion. 37

Is it no surprise that we now have a usurper for a president who whole-heartedly accepts most of the items on that list? Articles have been written about Obama's narcissism. Obama has admitted (proudly) that he is a "feminist." His acceptance, promotion, and outright celebration of the radical homosexual agenda can be seen in his desire to change military policy to allow "gays to be who they are openly" rather than keeping a policy put into place by Bill Clinton that has worked quite well - the "don't ask, don't tell" policy. He has also appointed about a dozen openly homosexual people who push for the radical homosexual agenda in our nation to key positions in his administration.

Dr. Jeremiah continues:

One cannot read lists such as these and doubt that America is throwing away its treasured position as the most blessed nation ever on the face of the earth. Remember, as we noted earlier, God blessed this country for a reason: our nation was founded on submission to Him. But now as the reasons for His blessings upon America are eroding, we can expect the blessings themselves to fade as well. It's a simple matter of cause and effect: remove the cause, and the effect ceases. Once, we invited God into our nation. From the first moments of our existence, we opened our national doors to Him and made Him welcome as our most honored guest. But now our culture seems bent on shutting Him out, as author Mike Evans laments:

Most can remember the classic painting of Jesus standing outside a door waiting to be allowed entry. That poignant portrayal of Christ on the outside, wanting to fellowship with His creation, has never been more powerful than it is today. Prayer has been excised from schools, suits have been filed to force Congress to remove "under God" from the Pledge of Allegiance, displays of the Ten Commandments have been removed from public buildings, and the motto, "In God We Trust," is in danger of extinction. Teachers have been forbidden even to carry a personal Bible in view of students, Christian literature has been removed from library shelves, religious Christmas carols have been banned from school programs, and "spring break" has replaced Easter vacation.38

Almost six decades ago, former president Herbert Hoover wrote a warning that I fear America has not heeded. After calling attention to several new programs and concepts, including "New Freedom" and "New Religion," Hoover stated, "We have overworked the word 'new'...The practical thing we can do, if we want to make the world over, is to try out the word 'Old' for a while. There are some 'old' things that made this country...Some old things are slipping badly in American life and if they slip too far, the lights will go out of America!"

Hoover's unheeded words of warning can be seen as practically prophetic today! Start making a list of "things that are slipping badly - and way too far" in our nation today. How long is your list?

Dr. Jeremiah continues:

Among the old things he listed: "Old Virtues of religious faith, integrity and whole truth...honor in public office, economy in government, individual liberty...willingness to sacrifice...Our greatest danger is not from invasion by foreign armies. Our dangers are that we may commit suicide from within by complaisance with evil."39

Make a list of the things you have seen that fall under the category of "complaisance with evil." How long is that list?

Dr. Jeremiah:

It saddens me to say it, but I believe the signs make it certain that America is now infected with the deadly disease of moral decay. And as that infection eats away at our foundations, we can expect the law of cause and effect to come into play. Scripture often warns us that even a long-suffering God will not forever strive with men. If we ignore divine directives, we cannot expect God's blessing. A limb that cuts itself off from the trunk will not continue to live.

Note that Dr. Jeremiah speaks of "divine directives." He stresses that as Christian believers, we are not to ignore them.

I truly believe that many Christians (like Stephen Pidgeon of the Alliance Defense Fund, for example) are following a divine directive in their lives - trying to do what is right because God's word informs us - "because the days are evil." We are to not only wait for Jesus to return and rescue the faithful from a world that we don't belong in, but we are also supposed to be busy watching and working - doing the will of our Father in heaven all the days of our lives - to fulfill His purposes in our world.

Jesus warned us, "In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! For I have overcome the world."

He was telling us that we will experience longsuffering while on this earth. We may even face dreadful times. It will be natural to experience discomfort in this world because we are "not of this world" anyway! Our real home is our eternal home with Christ in eternity. Meanwhile, despite our uneasiness as the signs of the end times become more and more apparent, we can still have confidence in such events because we know that they have been put in play by our Lord - the Creator of the universe!

Dr. Jeremiah puts it this way:

He (God) knows the end from the beginning, and because we are His friends, He is letting us in on the eternal secrets of His determined will.

[O]ur trust has never been in governments, civilizations, or cultures. By the standards of eternity, these institutions last but a moment, crumbling into dust to be swept away by the winds of history. They are helpful while they are here, but they have never been worthy of our trust. We have always put our trust in the One who stands above institutions, above history, and even above time itself - the One by whose power and permission these things exist, and who knows their times and the ends of their days. Only He is worthy of our ultimate allegiance.

That person is the only One - our Savior, Lord and King - Jesus Christ!

Wow! There are A LOT of angry people out there. I only glanced through the last few comments, but it appears that most are absolutely furious about this StimuWASTE bill.

Once people begin to connect the dots to see what got us in this mess, anger will turn into action (I hope). Those who ignored Obama's terrible associations with criminal and corrupt "advisors" - some of whom are now in his corrupt, income tax evading administration - did not heed the dire warnings that conservatives were making through the entire election process. Those who voted for Obamafraud, and those who previously voted in PeLIARsi and ReiDISASTER are now seeing how absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Correcting Revisions of America's Christian History

Because of all the craziness (i.e. the election and economic crisis bailout) going on in the news these days, I'm sure that many conservative Christians, like myself, may not have been aware of the deliberate effort to eliminate God (once again!) via revision of America's religious history.

In his article - God gets boot again in Washington D.C., Chuck Norris shares that Rep. Randy Forbes, R-VA. and the 108 congressional members of the Congressional Prayer Caucus would not allow such omissions to stand.

Norris writes:

That is why Rep. Randy Forbes, R-Va., and the 108 congressional members of the Congressional Prayer Caucus recently petitioned the Architect of the Capitol by letter, which details and documents the incomplete and inaccurate religious content in the Capitol Visitor Center – also found in Sen. Jim DeMint's, R-S.C., YouTube video "War on God":

1. No mention of our national motto, "In God We Trust";

2. In displaying images of the current speaker's rostrum in the House chamber, the phrase "In God We Trust" is omitted from its location engraved in marble above the speaker's head;

3. The opening words in Article 3 in the Northwest Ordinance (1787) are excluded from an exhibit. The actual article reads, "Art. 3. Religion, morality, and knowledge, being necessary to good government and the happiness of mankind, schools and the means of education shall forever be encouraged." The exhibit article reads: "Art. 3. … schools and the means of education shall forever be encouraged."

4. There are factual inaccuracies regarding church services held at the Capitol in early decades of our republic, saying they were held when Congress wasn't in session, when in fact they were held year around – and even the so-labeled strict-separatist Thomas Jefferson attended them throughout his eight years of presidency.

5. The exhibits include photos from Earth Day, an AIDS rally, various casino grounds and factories, but it does not include photos from monumental religious events such as the National Day of Prayer or the March for Life event, attended by thousands annually, etc.

6. There is an absence of any major display or description of the religious influence within or about the 200-plus year history of the Capitol.

Historical buildings like the Capitol Visitor Center are there to tell the story of our nation," said Rep. Forbes. "When religious history is removed from these displays, the American public is not able to observe an accurate depiction of our nation's story. We owe it to those who have gone before us and to our future generations to provide a complete representation of our nation's heritage. We will continue to fight until this is achieved in the Capitol Visitor Center."

His Country's Man

I found John McCain's speech very patriotic, genuine, and filled with America's greatness. This is quite a contrast from the constant negativity being spewed during the DNC convention last week. Obama's speech "among the Greek pillars" was a show - not very genuine IMO.

McCain shared many great points. I think that the best statement was when he stated that after his captivity for five years in a cell in Vietnam, he was no longer "his own man - he was his country's man."

What a contrast between Cindy McCain's life and love of country vs. Michele Obama's statements in the past like when she said, "for the first time in my adult life - I am proud of my country."

Michele must have been coached to change her image at the DNC convention. She certainly wasn't "herself" there. She tried to re-make herself and hide her previously nasty tones. The coaches helped her to put on a new wardrobe and a new hairdo - all with the goal of putting forth a kinder, gentler image. For me? It didn't work. I already knew the real Michele Obama - all too well.

While watching the video of Cindy McCain and all that she has done to help others, I couldn't help but think about one of Michele Obama's most disturbing lines during the campaign. It was when she was "encouraging" a crowd of supporters to get out and work. She also told them, 'Barack will NEVER let you go back to the way you used to live' - or something like that. How arrogant a statement is that?? Does she think that she and her husband will get into office and create some kind of Marxist-type utopia complete with their minions of "worker bees" at their beck and call?

What a HUGE contrast there is between the two would-be First Ladies.

Back to McCain's speech.

Our choice couldn't be more stark, or more clear. Either the country will elect an inexperienced candidate - who is known for his corrupt associates and was was "selected" by the DNC, the MSM, the Soros millionaire types, the Hollywood crowd, and the Obamabot followers - or, they will be wise enough to see through that charade and elect a true patriot, America lover and defender who will work for YOU, protect and defend our nation, and put country first - rather than get into office for the purpose of his own glory.

I continue to pray for the election of John McCain.

I was in solitary confinement when my captors offered to release me. I knew why. If I went home, they would use it as propaganda to demoralize my fellow prisoners. Our Code said we could only go home in the order of our capture, and there were men who had been shot down before me. I thought about it, though. I wasn't in great shape, and I missed everything about America. But I turned it down.

A lot of prisoners had it worse than I did. I'd been mistreated before, but not as badly as others. I always liked to strut a little after I'd been roughed up to show the other guys I was tough enough to take it. But after I turned down their offer, they worked me over harder than they ever had before. For a long time. And they broke me.

When they brought me back to my cell, I was hurt and ashamed, and I didn't know how I could face my fellow prisoners. The good man in the cell next door, my friend, Bob Craner, saved me. Through taps on a wall he told me I had fought as hard as I could. No man can always stand alone. And then he told me to get back up and fight again for our country and for the men I had the honor to serve with. Because every day they fought for me.

I fell in love with my country when I was a prisoner in someone else's. I loved it not just for the many comforts of life here. I loved it for its decency; for its faith in the wisdom, justice and goodness of its people. I loved it because it was not just a place, but an idea, a cause worth fighting for. I was never the same again. I wasn't my own man anymore. I was my country's.

I'm not running for president because I think I'm blessed with such personal greatness that history has anointed me to save our country in its hour of need. My country saved me. My country saved me, and I cannot forget it. And I will fight for her for as long as I draw breath, so help me God.
