My day turned out to be busier than I had expected. I had originally planned to post a comment from a previous post, expand upon it with some of my own thoughts, and then post a portion from Dr. David Jeremiah's book

BRISBANE, Australia - The House has held a closed session for the first time in 25 years and apparently discussed a hotly contested surveillance bill.
Republicans had requested privacy for what they termed "an honest debate" on the new Democratic eavesdropping measure.
Conspiracy theorists around the world have filled many pages of blogs and emails with theories as to why the public was prevented to hear what their elected representatives said and heard.
That is the nature of secrets: those "kept in the dark" want to know and in the absence of knowledge, seek answers.
Writers suggested that the special closed session of the U.S. House of Representatives discussed a lot more than the pending security surveillance provisions.
Last week's session was only the fourth time in 176 years that Congress has closed it's doors to the public.
Word has begun leaking from last weeks special, closed-door session of the United States House of Representatives.
Theorists wrote "Not only did members discuss new surveillance provisions as was the publicly stated reason for the closed door session, they also discussed: The imminent collapse of the U.S. economy to occur by September 2008, the imminent collapse of US federal government finances by February 2009, the possibility of Civil War inside the USA as a result of the collapse and advance round-ups of "insurgent U.S. citizens" likely to move against the government.
Also theorised was the detention of those rounded-up at "REX 84" camps constructed throughout the USA and the possibility of retaliation against members of Congress for the collapses and the location of "safe facilities" for members of Congress and their families to reside during expected massive civil unrest
Other answers included "the necessary and unavoidable merger of the United States with Canada" (for its natural resources) and with Mexico (for its cheap labor pool), the issuance of a new currency - THE AMERO - for all three nations as the proposed solution to the coming economic Armageddon.
Members of Congress were FORBIDDEN to reveal what was discussed and ABC News via WCPO web site at the link below CONFIRMS congress members were FORBIDDEN to talk about it!

A rumor is swirling around the Internet that an inglorious end to the U.S. economy is imminent. Unlike previous rumors to this effect, this one carries the weight of recent events in the financial realm and has many believing the rumor will come to pass.
Let’s examine some of the claims being made: On March 18, 2008, a “closed door” session of Congress was held for only the fourth time in history. According to House Rule XVII, clause 9, it is forbidden for members of the U.S. House of Representatives to reveal the discussions held behind those doors. The penalty for leaking such information includes loss of seniority, fines, reprimand, censure or expulsion. According to news sources, one purpose of the meetings was to discuss new surveillance techniques to be used by U.S. Homeland Security. Rumors continue to swirl as to what the other topics of discussion took place in that meeting.
According to the Australia.TO newspaper, as reported in the May 2008 Last Trumpet Newsletter (LTM), several congressmen were so incensed about what was discussed behind those doors that they were compelled to leak the contents of the meeting. Following is what is rumored to have been discussed: Imminent collapse of the U.S. economy by September 2008; imminent collapse of the U.S. Government finances by February 2009; possibility of civil war within the U.S. resulting from the collapse; detainment of “insurgent U.S. citizens” in anticipation of their moving against the government; the potential for violent action taken by citizens against members of Congress due to the collapses; the merger of the U.S. economy with those of Canada and Mexico as a solution to the collapse; the introduction of a new tri-national currency called the “AMERO” as another economic solution. On the 13th day of March 2008, a rare "closed door" session was held by the United States House of Representatives. Thus, those who were elected to represent the people of the United States would not allow the people to know what they were meeting about. After diligently searching for more information, I finally found what I was looking for in an Australian newspaper. The story appeared in Australia.TO from Brisbane, Australia. The article stated that ABC News via WCPO confirmed that Congress members were forbidden to talk about what went on in their secret meeting. Several of the Representatives, however, were so furious and concerned about the future of the country that they began leaking info. Here are some of the things that were reportedly leaked out regarding the secret meeting: Discussion regarding the imminent collapse of the U.S. economy to occur by September 2008 - The imminent collapse of the U.S. Government finances by February 2009 - The possibility of Civil War inside the United States as a result of the collapse - The advance round-ups of "insurgent U.S. citizens" likely to move against the government - The detention of those rounded up at REX 84 camps constructed throughout the United States - The possibility of public retaliation against members of Congress for the collapses - The location of safe facilities for members of Congress and their families to reside during massive civil unrest - the necessary and unavoidable merger of the United States with Canada and Mexico - The issuance of a new currency called the AMERO for all three nations as an economic solution. (20) Obviously, there is no documentary proof for the above as the meetings were secret. The information, however, does fit the profile of what is going on around us. Our Almighty Saviour is ultimately in charge. Time will tell if these things are so, and time is running out! In fact, I dismissed the hand sign that they were claiming was the "Illuminati New World Order" fellowship sign. It resembles the Texas Longhorns sports team(s) hand sign. There are photos of many U.S. leaders (including both former president
Bushes and Bush 43's daughters) holding up their hands with that sign. Coincidence? I don't really know.
But now, with all that is happening in our government - where the usurper president and the Congress is going AGAINST what "We the People" are saying - causes me to think that there is something VERY SINISTER going on in our nation.
There is so much information to absorb, it can make the average person's head explode.
I have been aware of the "
Alinsky method," the "
Cloward-
Piven method of orchestrated crisis," and how the media squelched a lot of the evil and negative information surrounding Obama to get him elected. Some of the people - not all, of course - were bamboozled into voting for this dangerous AND MOST PROBABLY - INELIGIBLE - man.
Who would have ever thought that such things would happen in the United States of America? Don't we have checks and balances to prevent such a takeover as this?

NGJ)is being formed. Since our three main branches of government have failed us (and are failing to adhere to the will of the people), the only recourse that we now have is for We the People to rise up and take action. I am hoping and praying that it doesn't lead to a civil war. It very well might reach the boiling point and happen. I hope that the formation of the
NGJ will work and
expel the
neo-Marxists from our government for good!
Just yesterday, I thought it strange that Obama met with leaders in Canada. For what purpose? Could it have something to do with Anonymous' post here?
There is much more that I would like to share and discuss about Anonymous' post. Some may dismiss it as a wild and false conspiracy theory. Others may see that what was allegedly discussed in secret by Congress in May, 2008 as truth. Others may not know what to believe (include me in that category right now.) However, I don't see any reason why this can't be discussed with all viewpoints getting a hearing.

Since several Congress members back in May 2008 are not currently in office now, do you think that they are speaking out (anonymously, of course) to warn the people of what they had learned?
Also, since all of the new Republican and existing House members of the Congress voted against the recent
StimuWASTE bill, were they all not privy to the secret information discussed in that special meeting? Or, did they go against the vote because they genuinely knew it was bad legislation? Did it not matter because it was known that the Republicans didn't have enough votes to prevent passage?
Three
RINOS in the Senate are mostly responsible for this awful bill being passed. All three were in Congress back in May 2008. Is there a distinct connection here?
It is hard for me to believe that conservatives would let this happen in Congress. In the first
StimuWASTE bill passage by the House, 11 NEW Democratic Congressmen (most considered as "blue dog" conservatives) voted AGAINST IT. Therefore, they were definitely not aware of the secret meeting in May 2008.
When the bill went back to the House, I think only 8 Democrats voted against it.
There are so many questions that need to be asked - with so few answers that are in any way satisfying. It makes me feel helpless as a U.S. Natural Born Citizen that the U.S. Supreme Court refuses to hear a case regarding
Obama's ineligibility to be
POTUS. It makes me feel unheard when I read that calls to Congress, urging them all to VOTE AGAINST the
StimuWASTE bill were running 1,000 to 1 - yet - it was passed anyway. It makes me feel that I can't trust ANYONE in government anymore - especially when Cheney did not allow for objections when the Electoral votes for Obama were counted and cast in Congress.
The presidents (both Bush and now Obama) will not hear or listen to the people.
The Congress will not hear nor listen to the people.
The U.S. Supreme Court and several judges in states across the country will not hear nor listen to the people filing lawsuits.
Where does this leave us as a nation?

Does America Have A Role In Prophecy?:
America Will Be Infected with Moral Decay
The average lifespan of all the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history has been about two hundred years. During that two-century span, each of these nations progressed through the following sequence: from bondage to spiritual faith; from spiritual faith to great courage; from courage to liberty; from liberty to abundance; from abundance to complacency; from complacency to apathy; from apathy to dependence; and from dependence back into bondage.35
Where are we right now in America? I think that during the election cycle, many Americans were living "in the midst of the
apathy to dependence." Their apathy led to them falling for the hoax being spouted by Barack Hussein Obama - the "one" who repeated the phrases "change we can believe in" and "hope." Trouble is, his followers and voters didn't pay any attention to the man's past associations. Nor, did they see that the "change" he was presenting was a
neo-Marxist bag of dependence and "nanny state" existence that the people thought would satisfy their every need. Instead, we are headed back into bondage - similar to the bondage we were under until we declared our independence from Britain.
Dr. Jeremiah continues:
At what point is America in this cycle? Popular blogger La Shawn Barber answered this question in an article titled, "America on the Decline." She wrote:
In The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, author Edward Gibbon discusses several reasons for the great civilization's demise, including the undermining of the dignity and sanctity of the home and the decay of religion. America has been compared to the Roman Empire in secular and religious ways. Regardless of its ultimate legacy, America is a civilization on the decline. A couple of centuries from now (or sooner), someone will lament the loss of a once-great civilization that brought prosperity to the world and tried to make it safe for democracy. The glory that was the United States will lay in ruins, brought down not by terrorists but its own debauchery and complacency.36
Barber's analysis is right on the money with one exception: given the present situation in our world, another "couple of centuries" for America is not in the equation. Nevertheless, her analysis is perceptive, and she continues it by referencing an expert from decades past. In 1947, forward-looking sociologist Dr. Carle Zimmerman wrote a text called Family and Civilization. He identified eleven "symptoms of final decay" observable in the fall of both the Greek and Roman civilizations. See how many characterize our society:
1. No-fault divorce.
2. "Birth Dearth"; increased disrespect for parenthood and parents.
3. Meaningless marriage rites/ceremonies.
4. Defamation of past national heroes.
5. Acceptance of alternative marriage forms.
6. Widespread attitudes of feminism, narcissism, hedonism.
7. Propagation of anti family sentiment.
8. Acceptance of most forms of adultery.
9. Rebellious children.
10. Increased juvenile delinquency.
11. Common acceptance of all forms of sexual perversion. 37
Is it no surprise that we now have a usurper for a president who whole-
heartedly accepts most of the items on that list? Articles have been written about
Obama's narcissism. Obama has admitted (proudly) that he is a "feminist." His acceptance, promotion, and outright celebration of the radical homosexual agenda can be seen in his desire to change military policy to allow "gays to be who they are openly" rather than keeping a policy put into place by Bill Clinton that has worked quite well - the "don't ask, don't tell" policy. He has also appointed about a dozen openly homosexual people who push for the radical homosexual agenda in our nation to key positions in his administration.
Dr. Jeremiah continues:
One cannot read lists such as these and doubt that America is throwing away its treasured position as the most blessed nation ever on the face of the earth. Remember, as we noted earlier, God blessed this country for a reason: our nation was founded on submission to Him. But now as the reasons for His blessings upon America are eroding, we can expect the blessings themselves to fade as well. It's a simple matter of cause and effect: remove the cause, and the effect ceases. Once, we invited God into our nation. From the first moments of our existence, we opened our national doors to Him and made Him welcome as our most honored guest. But now our culture seems bent on shutting Him out, as author Mike Evans laments:
Most can remember the classic painting of Jesus standing outside a door waiting to be allowed entry. That poignant portrayal of Christ on the outside, wanting to fellowship with His creation, has never been more powerful than it is today. Prayer has been excised from schools, suits have been filed to force Congress to remove "under God" from the Pledge of Allegiance, displays of the Ten Commandments have been removed from public buildings, and the motto, "In God We Trust," is in danger of extinction. Teachers have been forbidden even to carry a personal Bible in view of students, Christian literature has been removed from library shelves, religious Christmas carols have been banned from school programs, and "spring break" has replaced Easter vacation.38
Almost six decades ago, former president Herbert Hoover wrote a warning that I fear America has not heeded. After calling attention to several new programs and concepts, including "New Freedom" and "New Religion," Hoover stated, "We have overworked the word 'new'...The practical thing we can do, if we want to make the world over, is to try out the word 'Old' for a while. There are some 'old' things that made this country...Some old things are slipping badly in American life and if they slip too far, the lights will go out of America!"
Hoover's unheeded words of warning can be seen as practically prophetic today! Start making a list of "things that are slipping badly - and way too far" in our nation today. How long is your list?
Dr. Jeremiah continues:
Among the old things he listed: "Old Virtues of religious faith, integrity and whole truth...honor in public office, economy in government, individual liberty...willingness to sacrifice...Our greatest danger is not from invasion by foreign armies. Our dangers are that we may commit suicide from within by complaisance with evil."39
Make a list of the things you have seen that fall under the category of "complaisance with evil." How long is that list?
Dr. Jeremiah:
It saddens me to say it, but I believe the signs make it certain that America is now infected with the deadly disease of moral decay. And as that infection eats away at our foundations, we can expect the law of cause and effect to come into play. Scripture often warns us that even a long-suffering God will not forever strive with men. If we ignore divine directives, we cannot expect God's blessing. A limb that cuts itself off from the trunk will not continue to live.
Note that Dr. Jeremiah speaks of "divine directives." He stresses that as Christian believers, we are not to ignore them.
I truly believe that many Christians (like Stephen Pidgeon of the Alliance Defense Fund, for example) are following a
divine directive in their lives - trying to do what is right because God's word informs us -
"because the days are evil." We are to not only wait for Jesus to return and rescue the faithful from a world that we don't belong in, but we are also supposed to be busy watching and
working - doing the will of our Father in heaven all the days of our lives - to fulfill His purposes in our world.
Jesus warned us,
"In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! For I have overcome the world."He was telling us that we will experience longsuffering while on this earth. We may even face dreadful times. It will be natural to experience discomfort in this world because we are "not of this world" anyway! Our real home is our eternal home with Christ in eternity. Meanwhile, despite our uneasiness as the signs of the end times become more and more apparent, we can still have confidence in such events because we know that they have been put in play by our Lord - the Creator of the universe!
Dr. Jeremiah puts it this way:
He (God) knows the end from the beginning, and because we are His friends, He is letting us in on the eternal secrets of His determined will.
[O]ur trust has never been in governments, civilizations, or cultures. By the standards of eternity, these institutions last but a moment, crumbling into dust to be swept away by the winds of history. They are helpful while they are here, but they have never been worthy of our trust. We have always put our trust in the One who stands above institutions, above history, and even above time itself - the One by whose power and permission these things exist, and who knows their times and the ends of their days. Only He is worthy of our ultimate allegiance.
That person is the only One - our Savior, Lord and King - Jesus Christ!

Wow! There are A LOT of angry people out there. I only glanced through the last few comments, but it appears that most are absolutely furious about this StimuWASTE bill.
Once people begin to connect the dots to see what got us in this mess, anger will turn into action (I hope). Those who ignored Obama's terrible associations with criminal and corrupt "advisors" - some of whom are now in his corrupt, income tax evading administration - did not heed the dire warnings that conservatives were making through the entire election process. Those who voted for Obamafraud, and those who previously voted in PeLIARsi and ReiDISASTER are now seeing how absolute power corrupts absolutely.
