More “Free-Speech” Sleight-of-Hand From Obama Regime

With all the news coverage on Hurricane Irene, it might be easy to miss one of the more recent sleight-of-hand tactics recently employed by the Obamafraud regime.

Recall the Fairness Doctrine. One commentator over at NewsBusters said it well:

Fairness?
Submitted by ruby2ssday on Tue, 08/23/2011 - 5:01pm.

The "Fairness Doctrine" has nothing to do with fairness. It is to protect the speech of radical minorities and overpower those who promote rational debate.

It has been pushed upon the American people since way back in 1949 by the progressive loonies who thought that Americans wouldn't notice their deceitful practices. To be brief, the Fairness Doctrine was a misnomer that claimed talk radio needed to be balanced by providing the same amount of lefty progressive commentators as there are right conservative commentators. It was imposed to ensure the broadcasters gave equal time to differing political opinions.

The trouble is, when implemented, the lefty talk shows had far fewer listeners than the conservative ones anyway! Many of the failed progressive radio shows were cancelled. Therefore, demanding that "equal time to differing political opinions" be imposed made the loony lefties think that they would get the upper hand in talk radio.

The Obama gangster government tried to instill this stupid doctrine, once again, earlier in the beginning of this regime. Didn't work. Too many people were on to them and prevented the FCC from implementing it again.

Fast forward to August, 2011. It was announced by the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) that the "the Fairness Doctrine is now officially dead." Sounds good, right? Not so fast! Take a look at this email letter I recently received that tells the truth of the matter:

From the Desk of:
David Martin, Executive Vice President
Media Research Center

August 25, 2011

Christine,

More “free-speech” sleight-of-hand is coming from the Obama Administration. Early this week, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) announced they were doing away with what we have called the Censorship Doctrine - the so-called “Fairness” Doctrine. This federal doctrine, a relic from 1949, was imposed to ensure the broadcasters gave equal time to differing political opinions.

Great news, right? Not so fast . . .

According to Media Research Center founder Brent Bozell, the FCC “deserves one-handed applause” for the move. Before striking the politically volatile “Fairness Doctrine,” the FCC implemented rules of “localism,” “media diversity,” and a nebulous requirement to “serve the public interest.” All designed to empower the FCC to limit speech they don’t like.
As Brent points out, “the path to censor radio airwaves has been long paved through the back door.”

Click here to read Brent’s statement and then here to take action with the MRC.

+ + Speech isn’t free if it’s under government control

The FCC is making a big deal about the repeal of the “Fairness Doctrine, because they have put other tools in place to accomplish the same goals. Among others, these tools are “localism” and “diversity.”

Christine, under the nefarious concept of localism, unelected and unaccountable statists at the FCC could in regulate how much time broadcasters must dedicate to so-called local issues (as defined by the FCC) – in effect limiting the amount of time they can give to programming their listeners want to hear.

Under government mandated “diversity” in station ownership, a station owner could have his application to renew his license denied for no reason other than there being a lack of minority owned stations in their listening area. Across the rest of the federal government the people working as affirmative action bean counters have consistently shown that their ultra left-wing belief system takes priority over the rule of law.

Generations of American soldiers, sailors and marines didn’t die so that the First Amendment could be repealed by overpaid government employees at the FCC. These regulations do not exist for their stated purpose. They exist only a sneaky means for leftists in the permanent federal bureaucracy to control what the American people can hear.

The threats of government control and censorship are alive and well in the U.S. The free speech rights of EVERY American are threatened -- not to mention the fate of political free speech on radio airwaves!

Liberals know that silencing us will help them to advance their socialist agenda -- unchallenged and under the radar.

That’s why the MRC proactively launched our national grassroots petition to protect and preserve the free speech rights of Americans. Through this petition, Americans from all walks of life have the opportunity to answer back to the Obama Administration’s backdoor efforts to silence and suppress dissent!

Click here now and stand for free speech. [Note from Christine - SIGN THIS PETITION!]

By signing this petition, you will join with almost half a million American citizens who want their individual free speech rights defended and protected from government intrusion! Our great nation was built upon free and open discourse, and to remain a great nation this ideal must be protected and preserved at all costs.
After signing, please alert your friends -- urging them to follow your lead.

Thank you in advance for your efforts!

David

P.S: Alert your friends today. Forward this message to 25-30 friends urging them to read Brent Bozell’s statement and take action to protect and preserve our free speech right.

Well, I've done my job by signing the petition (at above link) and alerting the up to 100 visitors that come to this blog on any given day. I hope that you will pass this information along to others, too.

Let these liars know that WE WON'T GET FOOLED AGAIN!

Fox News Purposely Sabotaging Palin

The following link certainly explains why Fox News Channel did a 180 degree turn against their own Fox News Commentator, Sarah Palin. The Post & Email: Is Fox News Out to Sabotage Governor Palin?

After reading the article, I think that we may all know exactly why this has happened.

No one can put Sarah Palin in a box. No one controls her. Perhaps Roger Ailes originally thought he could, but when he found out how mistaken he was, he systematically set out to join the chorus of leftist libtards and began the process of deliberately sabotaging her! This is truly DESPICABLE!!

Isn't this a truly sad state of affairs? Sarah Palin has enough fiery darts being thrown at her by the rest of the Media of Mass Deception!! How disheartening to find out that Fox News is now joining in with the evil nemesis of Palin derangement syndrome haters!

Even though I didn't agree with Hillary Clinton's political views, it was so obvious that she was sabotaged by her own party back during the 2008 primary. I thought that was awful, too.

Who are these people???

If Sarah Palin toughs it out and runs for president, I think that it would be the first step in getting away from the powers-that-be who have had a death grip of control over Washington D.C. for decades.

On the other hand, if Sarah Palin decides not to run for president, she will be a formidable figure in steering conservatives towards the best GOP candidate in the race.

Shame on Roger Ailes and all the reporters and pundits (except Sean Hannity and Greta Van Susteren) who are in on the fix to sabotage the former governor! When Glenn Beck's program is discontinued at the end of June, it will be difficult for me to support Fox News anymore. The combination of finding out about the deliberate sabotage of Sarah Palin and the ignorant decision to let Glenn Beck go (although he will most likely move on to bigger and better things!!) has caused a bad taste in my mouth and has increasingly soured my stomach towards that news station. I suppose that I will just continue getting my news from the many excellent blogs on my blog roll.

America? Please wake up!! Whether you like Sarah Palin or not, can't you see what is happening here?? If you are a lefty who wanted Hillary as the Dem nominee, recall what happened to her! PLEASE DON'T LET THE POWERFUL LEFTIST ELITES CONTINUE TO SABOTAGE INDIVIDUAL CITIZENS!! WAKE UP AND REALIZE THAT THEY ARE TRYING TO SABOTAGE OUR AMERICAN WAY OF LIFE, TOO!

DO THE RIGHT THING!!

Mat 10:26 "Therefore do not fear them. For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known.

Luk 8:17 "For nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor [anything] hidden that will not be known and come to light.

Luk 12:2 "For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known.

Chopra Mocks Palin? ReasonandFaith1 Returns the Favor! [Update!]

While listening to Glenn Beck's radio program this morning, I heard about Deepak Chopra's ranting article against Sarah Palin. Gateway Pundit has the story and links, so I will just provide some insight that I learned about Chopra years ago.

Back in January, 2005, Deepak Chopra appeared on Lee Strobel's television program,  Faith Under Fire and debated Christian Apologist Greg Koukl on the topic of "The Future of Faith."

As a recipient of Greg's email alerts I received an email telling me the date, time and channel of the program. Greg also stated the following in his email:

I think you'll find the discussion stimulating and revealing. I think it's also a great opportunity for the Kingdom. Please pray there will be a powerful impact from the exchange between Chopra and me.

Greg
--
"I have come in to the world to bear witness to the truth."--Jesus, John 18:37

My initial reaction to the show:

Great show!

This broadcast was absolutely fabulous! Greg Koukl pointed out the fact that people can have differing beliefs regarding faith, but that it is logically impossible for them all to be true at the same time. His trust in Jesus Christ and God's Word stood in direct contrast to Deepak Chopra who admitted "embracing his uncertainty." Koukl's view demonstrates a steadfast and true faith where Chopra's view can only lead to theological oblivion.

I gathered some additional comments over at my Talk Wisdom forum:

Messengers of an Impersonal God?
I watched Greg Koukl and Deepak Chopra discuss the future of faith on Lee Strobel's Faith Under Fire last night. Dr. Chopra has written numerous books on New Age spirituality that have sold millions of copies. Greg did a superb job of representing the gospel in content and character, modeling the qualities of an ambassador that he and the folks at Stand to Reason seek to instill in others. He repeatedly demonstrated the problems with religious relativism and exposed the fact that, contrary to his denial that he is dogmatic, Dr. Chopra adheres to a theological position of which he seeks to persuade others.

As a sign of respect for Jesus, Dr. Chopra said that his teaching in the Sermon on the Mount is among his favorites and that he carries a copy of it with him. However, he considers Jesus only one among a number of God's messengers. Not only is this a contradiction of the biblical witness to Jesus' uniqueness, it's also unintelligible given Dr. Chopra's own concept of the nature of God. You see, Dr. Chopra emphatically denies that God is a personal being.

The concept of messenger presupposes two activities, both of which can only be performed by persons. The first is that of sending or commissioning. The summer before I went to college I worked as a messenger for a law firm in Manhattan. They sent me and my co-workers on various assignments to deliver important documents to other firms and businesses. I didn't decide what my destination was to be. Nor did I decide at what times I would go on these errands. All of that was dictated to me by my employer. A messenger is one who is sent by someone not something.

The second activity presupposed by the concept of messenger is communication. A messenger is one who conveys a what? That's right - a message. The task of a messenger is to convey some kind of communication from the one who sent him or her to the recipient. If I were to tell you that my toaster wanted me to tell you something, you'd think that I was either joking or something was seriously wrong with me. That's because we know that toasters and other impersonal entities don't communicate. So, how Dr. Chopra explains the concept of an impersonal God having messengers, I don't know. I don't think he can.

I wouldn't be surprised if Greg offers some more detailed analysis of the exchange at STR's blog so keep an eye out for it.

Greg Koukl r0x0rz da hizzy
I only got to see from about 20 minutes after the hour, but Greg Koukl of Stand to Reason graciously, fairly, kindly, steamrolled Deepak Chopra on Faith Under Fire last night. I mean, it wasn't even fair. Wasn't even close. TKO first round, except the fight kept going. I have no idea how Greg managed to wrangle the whole hour---the biggest draw-back to Faith Under Fire has been that you have to address big issues in picoseconds, and sometimes you just can't do that very well. So, to get the whole hour with a single "opponent" was quite the coup, and resulted in a much better encounter with a much clearer result.
I've heard from Faith Under Fire three times on three different topics. First program crashed and burned when my opponent backed out. Nothing came of the second two. Haven't heard anything in months now. I don't expect to, honestly (if you go over the guest list you'll see a few names that would explain my non-expectation), but as long as they get folks like Greg on there, they'll be doing well.

In addition, SmartChristian's blog pointed out the obvious fact that "Deepak Chopra is simply a new age hindu."

Why am I sharing this with you? Because no matter what fake persona Chopra tries to present to his fans and readers of his books, the true person (emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually) often is exposed during an unnecessarily mean and cruel rant like the one he wrote against Sarah Palin.

Glenn stated some past quotes from Chopra on his radio program. I will try to locate the exact quotes and post them here. But they were similar to the idea that "we all should just get along" and "live in peace and harmony" and "not judge each other" etc. So...what did Chopra do in his angry rant against Sarah Palin? The exact opposite of his guru-type, transcendental meditation gobbledy-gook that he espouses in his books, tapes, interviews and website!

The debate between Koukl and Chopra went on for an entire hour. I found a portion of the program on YouTube, but the portion where Chopra stated that he "embraces his uncertainty" isn't in the clip.

Go here to see just 5 minutes of the debate:

"What is Truth?": Deepak Chopra Denies the Deity of Christ

Last but not least, since Chopra chose to mock Sarah Palin, I don't see any reason to not return the favor. The following 37 second video is truly a classic:

A Note To Sarah

I think that it is AWFUL that so many in the Media of Mass Deception are trying to pin blame on Sarah Palin for what that lunatic murderer did during his shooting rampage in Arizona. The following is what I recently wrote on Sarah Palin's FaceBook page:

Dear Sarah,

I heard your heartfelt response to Glenn Beck's letter to you on his radio show today where you denounced violence of any kind towards anyone. Thank you for being the very classy lady that you are and not falling for all the vitriole the rabid leftists spew at you.

I know that Jesus is your "Rock" and your faith in Him gets you through the ugly mess that people often sinfully cast against you. In this world of hateful rhetoric, you stand strong and above it all.

Our Lord loves you, and you love Him. No matter what the haters say about you and/or your family, they can NEVER take away what you and Todd have accomplished.

The Lord must have great things in store for you because the totally undeserved persecution going on against you is spoken of and revealed in the Bible about those who follow the Lord Jesus. I'm sure that through it all, the Lord Jesus is saying, "Well done, my good and faithful servant."

God bless you and your lovely family!

Sincerely,
Christine

Libs Using Tragic Event to Spark Anger?

Recall that Glenn Beck warned that the progressives would start a fight to try and get Conservatives, Independents, TEA Party Patriots, and Sarah Palin supporters (etc.) angry enough to cause people to resort to violence? Could the use of this terribly tragic event be the spark that they are using to try and do that?

Patriots, don't let them change you! Don't let them turn your (our) focus away from the plans we have to peacefully, and through voting and legal ways, bring our country back from the clutches of Soros, Obama & all their evil cohorts!

So...That's What It's Called! [Update]

Anti-Colonialism! That term helps sum up just what ObamaBorgLand and his nefarious array of cohorts dislike about America. They are not only for the Marxo-Islamo-Fascist crowd, but are against America because of deep-seeded hatred and an Anti-Colonialism attitude. In Dinesh D'Souza's new book, The Roots of Obama's Rage, Americans are about to find out exactly why Obama wants to "fundamentally transform" America, and how the people who have surrounded him his entire life have attributed to Obama's rage against our Constitutional Republic, our economic system of Capitalism, and our American Ideals.

The Christian Newswire was the site where I first found a positive article about the book.

It's weird. When I first typed in "Dinesh D'Souza's new book" into the Bing search, all of these rabid leftist websites and blogs showed up.

Today, Glenn Beck did most of his show on D'Souza's book. They covered some of the facts found in the book. Tomorrow, it will be revealed how Obama and his cohorts apply opinion to distort the facts and thus ignore the problems that his administration is causing in our Constitutional Republic.

In case you missed the show today, I will include a link here to the Youtube version of Beck's show as soon as it is posted online.

DWTS - Losing Its Class and Grace

Hi friends. My apologies for not consistently posting lately. Yesterday, my morning started out crazy and remained so for most of the day! When I got out of the shower, the roofers (getting our roof repaired all week) were banging on the roof, the dogs were barking hysterically, the phone was ringing, my husband was texting me on my cell phone, and my Mom was hungry for her breakfast!

I literally did not sit down but twice during the day. At 2:00 p.m. to watch The Glenn Beck show, and then again at 8:00 p.m. to watch Dancing With The Stars.

DWTS has been one of my favorite shows. However, something happened towards the end of the show last night that I found ungraceful, un-classy, and very disappointing.

Gateway Pundit has the story and the video.

The question is:

Did Sarah Palin get booed on Dancing With the Stars last night? Some people think so.

There is a debate going on in the comment section regarding what, or whom, the "boos" were directed towards. The trouble is, during the re-broadcast, the booing could have been suppressed. It was left in there on purpose.

The one show on television that I always thought was one that demonstrated class and elegance is being tarnished. The first disappointment was the need to bleep out Brandy's curse words. How sad that a beautiful singing star has such a foul mouth that she can't even control it while appearing and performing dances on a national T.V. show!

The second disappointment was what definitely appeared to be booing from some in the crowd right before Sarah Palin, who was there as a member of the audience to support her daughter Bristol's performance, was briefly interviewed by the host of the show. Young Piper was sitting next to her mother in support of her older sister. But the booing libtards didn't care to think how that young child might feel about their rude, arrogant, and unnecessary disparagement.

My comment at Gateway:

When a mom who happens to be famous and loved by many – yet hated by some in the public who disagree with her politics - appears at an event to support her daughter, I would have thought that even the most rabid leftists would be gracious and not boo. But I was wrong. The type of persons who would boo a person like that on national T.V. during a pleasant dancing competition are despicable – to say the least.

I was in the audience of DWTS a few years ago and we were encouraged to dress nicely and be polite. There were people introduced in the audience who I didn’t like and disagreed with politically, but I would NEVER have booed them during the taping of the show.

If those boos were aimed at Sarah Palin (and I think they were – like Bailey wrote, “There was way too much time between the scores and the boos.”) then someone involved in the show needs to apologize for it next week.

However, it appears that the execs at ABC are not willing to offer an apology to Gov. Palin for the disgraceful attitude of some in the audience. They hid behind their desks and lied about it.

The slogan at ABC is “a new kind of family.” Apparently, that means a rejection of normal conservative families like the Palins and the embrace of the rude, bombastic, rabid, liberal leftist lunatic fringe types as this new kind of “family.” How sad and tragic.

It’s been debunked both by ABC and the shows host, Tom Bergeron. The boos were not for Sarah. In fact , if you watched it, you can see and hear that when Bergeron introduces her, there is cheering and applause and lots of smiling faces in the audience. I bet it gets debunked this on evening’s show as well.

Just because some of the fringe left loons wish and say something is so, it doesn’t mean it is. Another failure.

Curth,

I have been at a taping of the show. Things can be manipulated. For instance, the performances by musical guests are usually taped first and presented on T.V. later in the show.

It is possible that the audience was told not to boo (again) before the interview was done. The only way to know for sure is to ask people who were actually there in the audience.

Next, I went over to The Daily Beast link (above) and read this:

pludger
Actually, YOU'RE wrong. Audience members report they were booing Palin, but the network put out the fire by saying it was over scores. Firsthand, eyewitness accounts from those who were actually there say that it was totally an anti-Palin boo...

[Note: Most of the comments about Sarah and her family at the aptly named "Daily Beast" site are not very kind to the Palins.]

Huffy Puffy Prof Disses Beck

Since I do not want to establish a direct link to the evil nemesis of blogs - The Huffington Post - I will just share the copy and paste version.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/joseph-a-palermo/glenn-beck-historian-for_b_591353.html

Excerpt:

The Reverend Jerry Falwell's Liberty University recently conferred upon Glenn Beck an honorary doctorate in the humanities. It's official: Beck is now a doctor of philosophy. Liberty University's honoring of Beck is fitting because he has clearly established himself as Fox News's resident "historian," with his area of expertise being American civilization, with emphases on the early republic, Progressivism, and the New Deal. Glenn Beck, Ph.D. makes about $1 million a month, earning him the distinction of being the highest paid "historian" in the world.

Other than that paragraph, you could sum up the rest of the author's diatribe against Beck by saying 'he acted stupidly.'

This morning, Glenn Beck mentioned this article on his radio show. He read portions of the article and refuted the lies and misconceptions in it. Beck also thanked Barack Obama for telling America to "read the Huffington Post." HA!

Of course, the author cannot possibly give Glenn credit for his success without disparaging him. What's more, the video link to a portion of the commencement speech that was presented to Liberty University graduates by Glenn Beck had to be accompanied by hate-filled commentary.

So be it.

But all is not lost!

The Beck supporters who have been commenting there are probably causing all of the progressive liberals to blow a Prius head gasket!

What's more, at the time I was reading the comments, the following ad showed up on the page:

Heh heh heh...the regular Huffies (or, should I call them "Huffpost Super Users??") over there probably hated seeing that ad, too!

Hmmmm....Super....Users. A very fitting description (at least for the liberal bloggers there) since progressives really know how to use other people (in any and every evil way possible). Hey Joe, you crazy Historical Professor. You got it right when you said. “Beck's shtick is a backhanded nod to the relevance of history as a discipline and to historians not only as educators, but also as the keepers of the nation's myths”. We need to remind ourselves that you myth-keepers have very little value past our college years. You seem a wee-bit jealous that you’re not getting all that attention.

Christianity has been a force in almost all of human history partly because it deals with human nature, which has not changed in all the “modern” circumstances that have come and gone. Dr. Palermo & Dr. Wood can’t see the (true shape of the) forest for the trees: they see details (trees) that don’t seem to hold together over time–time changes their theories (forest). Christian worldview WORKS in all circumstances; Atheism doesn’t. Therefore, the Constitution (based on the Christian worldview) WORKS today. Treating it as a “living document” just means they interpret it with their Atheistic worldview. . . thus giving us governance that HISTORY SAYS will result in loss of liberty and maybe even death (e.g., Mao, Hitler, & Cambodia)!

I find it interesting, that no one cares to disprove his connections, or produce anything that contradicts what he says, aside from name calling. Well, and the wonderful "He's a liar you idiots!"

Are you in search of the truth? Or are you willing to swallow what it is shoved down your throat, whole?
You accusation of the unemployed rallying behind Beck is nonsense, The President extended unemployment to 99 weeks. Who would say "F*$K you jack, I hate the money you're giving me for free!"
No, most "BeckHeads" as you call us, are self-employed, stay-at-home-parents, or 'rich' enough to own a smart phone.
Further more the notion that only old people listen to Doctor Beck, as demonstrated by your off-handed remark about social security checks, is falsehood. His listener-ship boasts a broad range of ages, though is mostly centered around 25-45 year old women. Now, applying that age range to out society's statistics..
Well.. Are Moms stupid, trolling, BeckHeads?
I ask again, are you in search of the truth?

Glenn Beck is our George Whitefield.

whitefield.html?start=2

Largely forgotten today, George Whitefield was probably the most famous religious figure of the eighteenth century. Newspapers called him the "marvel of the age." Whitefield was a preacher capable of commanding thousands on two continents through the sheer power of his oratory. In his lifetime, he preached at least 18,000 times to perhaps 10 million hearers.

The spiritual revival he ignited, the Great Awakening, became one of the most formative events in American history. His last sermon on this tour was given at Boston Commons before 23,000 people, likely the largest gathering in American history to that point.

In Palermo's first paragraph, he attempts to back his demonization of Glenn Beck by citing how much money he believes he makes. Does Glenn make a lot of money? You bet. Does this automatically disqualify him for speaking on certain subjects? No. Having money does not make you an evil person, although this myth is being contradictorily purported by Obama himself.

I'm surprised that the other two American evils weren't mentioned here; being Caucasian and having a Christian faith. Although Beck may be white for sure, please understand that Mormonism is far from being Christian. Any faith that doesn't acknowledge the cross alone for any possible redemption, is anything but Christian. Mormonism is more in line with Catholicism, where they believe 'cross + yourself.'

But you have to hand it to him. When he's right, he's right. I have yet to see anyone disprove anything he has said, without later being disproved themselves, whether it's a month later or a year later. So when a joke like Palermo states that Glenn Beck has a skewed sense of history, then how come he is able to so easily predict it repeating itself? That alone is proof to who knows our country's history and who doesn't.

One main reason his detractors have trouble disproving anything Glenn Beck says is that he uses their own words to support his assertions. They have forgotten that words mean things and in this technological age, EVERYTHING is recorded. Sheer genius....it's killing the Left.

In answer to a leftie who thinks Beck is wrong to put the Nazis and Communists in the same camp - and on the left side of the political spectrum:

Your bothering to read & quote Hitler is admirable, but you're missing Beck's main point: worldview. It's very simple & basic. How do the leaders of the groups we're concerned with actually think about the world? The Nazis & Communists have the same BASIC worldview. . .compared to the Founders of this country. Nazis & Communists believed there was no God & that man is basically good: so power can be concentrated with no big risk. God says we ALL will steal & abuse others, thus the Founders wanted limited government. Obama thinks like the Nazis; I don't!

Glenn uses recorded words from the very people who hate him and are trying to discredit him. Now what does that mean they are?? He loves our country (Do you?). Sure he has his opinions, but he also backs them up with undeniable recordings and documentation. Watch the whole program.

What a horrible article and distortion. If you knew anything about history to begin with, you'd realize that what is being said by beck really is the truth, and a simple look at history can prove it. Let me ask you, how is social security (broke), medicare (broke), welfare (completely broke), minimum wage (everything made in china), federal reserve (creating the largest debt bubble the world has ever seen), etc. holding up for you? I bet your life is just great knowing that from the day your child is born they owe 40k that will never be repaid. History has shown us that sticking to things worth real value and having real morals, while rare, is the only thing that works in this world. Since you obviously feel you are an authority on this subject, I'd love to see you explain how great things are with the "progressive" idea installations from the early 20th century now? Why not just admit you want a pure socialist nation with an unelected world body as your leader since the people don't know what's good for them?

As a "neo-con", I'll tell you that the best way to gain influence of the gullible, low IQ, uneducated people like myself is to refute Glenn's facts. Of course, Glenn promotes his views. Views are not facts.

Reality- Glenn promotes small government. You see big government as the solution. Therein is the real source of objection.

Reality- the more we hear how gullible we are from the left, the more the left appear to be on a kool-aid high themselves.

Reality- Beck does promote fact. The left responds with smear campaigns.

Reality- Most of us do not believe there is an active conspiracy, *perhaps* Beck does. Beck's blackboard descriptions of the "conspiracy" makes for effective drama-- drama that weaves a factual web of real government influences.

Reality- Your side would be much more effective if it stopped the overwhelming emphasis on character assassinations and focused on fact, like Beck. Should you so change your ways, the recipients of your message will weed through any "vast right wing conspiracy" you'd like to include in your delivery.

Reality - Your side is losing at a rate that doesn't look too good.

You have absolutely nailed the thing that drives me the craziest about Glenn Beck. It's his usurpation of the props of a professor, when he doesn't have to provide any foundation for his so-called "facts."

What an....egghead!! Ha ha! The next commentator puts the eggman in his place. Nothing like seeing a virtual "egg on your face" moment:

Like a good professor, Beck does reference all of the facts presented on his show. If you watch or listen to the shows long enough, he will present you with every book and transcript he has researched. It is open for anyone to read...and dispute. BTW, his TV show actually airs on FOX NEWS...they only show clips on MSNBC. Watch it so you can get your so-called "facts" straight.

Hat tips to the commentators!

That Whitey Obama!

Well...according to his heredity, he has more white ancestry in him than black! Am I in trouble now? Did that title anger anyone? Did that title offend anyone? Am I a racist for labeling Obama a "whitey"? Why did I write this? Why the sudden outburst?

As the cartoon character named Charlie Brown (Note: not being racist...that was his last name!) regularly stated when he was completely exasperated:

AAARRGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!

My mind just cannot take the race baiting crap being bantered about in the media anymore!!! I've had it!!

I don't hate Obama.

I hate his POLICIES!

Hating a person's terrible policies have nothing to do with the race of the man!

But progressive lefties have to fall back on something to hurt the TEA Party movement because they cannot win the arguments against their dangerous policial agenda that MOST AMERICANS DO NOT WANT!!

Thus, the false, made-up and stupid calls of "racism" apparently work better for the lousy Congresspeople and their lapdog media creeps (paging Keith Olberdummy???) than for them to actually have to face the TRUTH OF THE MATTER! These people will fall back on their own swords of idiotic, dangerous, expensive, life-denying, evil, hate-mongering policies that goes on in their lunatic anti-Christian, anti-Capitalist, anti-Republic, anti-U. S. Constititution, anti-business, and anti-conservative minds!! Liberalism is a mental disorder and progressivism is head-exploding worse!

The destructive goals of these people will irreparably harm America if we don't counter their sick and twisted efforts towards Marxism!!! Americans are tired of the lies, cheating, scandals, corruption, bribing, illegal activity and most of all - seeing these criminals getting away with it!!

Don't fall for their propaganda.

Common sense will win the day in the end.

These progressive Communists will undo themselves!! They have been found out!

And the first wave of undoing will happen in November, 2010 when the worst Congress in American history is booted out on their arses!!!

Ahhh... I feel better now. Just had to get out some frustration this morning. Will now return to your regularly scheduled Talk Wisdom blog posts.

Blatant Propaganda at ABC

Recall the following from my Blog News Roundup yesterday?

Anti-Tea Party Crowd Disappointed, Again
posted by William A. Jacobson at Le·gal In·sur·rec·tion - 2 hours ago

Despite their worst intentions, the people who try to tie every act of violence to the Tea Party movement are going to have trouble spinning the Pentagon shooting by J. Patrick Bedell. It has become pretty...
[You can go to the link if you didn't read the post yesterday.]

Next, I wrote:

I just got finished writing a comment to GMPilot about the similarities between the plane bomber Joe Stack and the recent crazy Pentagon shooter:

And...about that plane bomber Joe Stack. He was a leftist progressive. Just like the recent Pentagon shooter who turned out to be a 9/11 truther. A pattern appears to be developing as of late. The disgruntled individuals who hate the government and take lethal matters into their own hands are of the ideology which sides more with you.

As the Legal Insurrection blogger pointed out, the progressive leftist lunatics try to pin the attacks that have been happening on the TEA Party movement. Each time, they have been shown to be the liars that they are.

And now, I found out that ABC'S GMA went ahead and spewed their own brand of propaganda yesterday:

Newsbusters reports: Weir Waves Napolitano's 'Right-wing Extremism' Report To Brand Bedell

Excerpt:

John Patrick Bedell was a registered Democrat who believed George W. Bush was behind 9-11.

So how does Good Morning America portray him? As a right-wing extremist, part of a pattern of anti-government violence that flares during Dem presidential administrations . . .

GMA had a two-part segment on Bedell this morning. First came a reasonable report by Martha Raddatz. At one point, as images of the WTC in flames appeared, she did state that "there had been Internet postings, laced with conspiracy theories about 9-11, and government corruption." Raddatz stopped short of mentioning that Bedell explicitly accused the Bush admin of being behind 9-11, calling them a "murderous government" and "collection of gangsters" that sacrificed "thousands of its citizens" on September 11th.

But then came co-host Bill Weir, literally waving Janet Napolitano's report about "right-wing extremism" in the air, and wondering out loud to ABC consultant and former FBI agent Brad Garrett, who was willing to go along, about having seen this before "during past Democratic administrations."

Obama's Moonbattery Year

OH...MY...GOSH!! If you are looking for something to read that puts in words, photos, images, and cartoons all of the awful MOONBATTERY stuff that Obama & cohorts have inflicted upon our nation over the past year, The Obama File: Obama's First Year page is for you! I have only just starting reading The January Obama Moonbattery Page and some of the stuff is absolutely hilarious!

This will give readers here something fun to do as we wait for the results in the Massachusetts Senate Race special election that is happening today. GO SCOTT BROWN!!!

The liberals who are foolish enough to still support Obama, the wretched Dem Congress majority, and the terrible HELLSCARE bill may learn something after today's vote.

Then again, maybe not.

Did anyone else happen to catch Hannity's T.V. show last night? The liberal commentator, Bob Beckel, who is constantly on Hannity's "Great American Panel" spoke with very bitter words and looked like a defeated man. I wish Tanya Reiman would do a body language segment on him! Of course, in his usual insulting fashion, he called the millions of Americans who came out to protest at the TEA Parties across the nation last year "baggers, birthers, and blowhards."

Hannity called him on his verbal bashing of all of these people.

Why can't they question why Obama doesn't show his birth certificate?

Don't they have the free speech right to object to the terrible health care bill?

Aren't they correct to say that Obama is a liar for being captured seven times on tape during the campaign saying that he would have a transparent administration and allow C-Span to cover all of the debate sessions on health care?

Instead, he and the Dem Congress (remember - Republicans are not allowed to participate) are conducting secretiveness, behind closed door deals giving what I think are UNCONSTITUTIONAL "sweetheart" deals to senate buddies if they will vote for the health care bill. Doesn't that also sound illegal by most standards of established law here in the United States?

I can't wait to see how badly Martha Coakley will be defeated in her election bid tonight. It will prove to be indicative of the mood of the entire country - which I think is ready to roll almost the entire Democratic side of the House of Representatives right out of office come November, 2010!

P.S. Isn't that photo up top absolutely hilarious?? There are lots more! In the January thread, scroll down about half way to see what a Puggle dog is wearing. "Bark Obama?" LOL! And the January 17, 2009 entry called "Government Cheese" is well...you'll see! It's scaringly accurate, that's for sure! Scroll down a bit more and see what "all of these mug shots have in common."

Obamaland: Crybabies In Diapers!

*Sigh*... the weekend is over. I so enjoy my time with family, away from the news (for the most part) and studying the Word of God. There is something about reading the Bible. It refreshes me. It calms me and points me back in the direction of what God wants to show me in this brief life that we all share on this earth.

Yesterday, as I played with our dog in the yard I thought of the Amish. Sometimes I envy them. They live the simpler kind of life - in total devotion to God and their families. Since they don't watch TV or peruse the Internet, they most likely don't even know what is going on with this juvenile, and at the same time dangerous gangster government!

The rest of us, however, need to be on guard as gatekeepers for our Republic and Constitution. WE THE PEOPLE cannot let this Marxist tyrannical group - masquerading as government "leaders" go unchecked. We must continue to be diligent, watching every move that they make.

Thank God for conservative Internet bloggers, talk radio, Fox News, and especially the Glenn Beck Program. All of these venues are exposing the ridiculous nature of the people in Washington D.C. who are currently "playing government." Take the latest fiasco designed to take our attention away from ObamaSCARE HELLcare and the Crap and Trade legislation. There latest crazy and infantile bed-wetting deed? Slam Fox News.

That's right! The most popularly viewed cable news organization is being targeted by the White House "elites" (quotes required because they should be regarded as anything BUT truly elite!) and they are crying like little babies in diapers that Fox News dares to fact check what they say!!

Can you believe that?

Yes you can!

Oops...didn't mean to use THAT tired cliche'!

I ask - what is this...Venezuela? Does Obama and his cronies champion themselves as the latest Hugo Chavez regime? What ASSES - all of them! Sorry but the word just...well...fits!

Here is one of many articles and blog posts being written about the clowns in the White House:

White House to Fox News: How Dare You Check Our 'Facts'

Excerpt:

I must admit... I thought for sure that the Obama administration's "war" against Fox News would surely just be a skirmish. Think about it. Fox News is more popular than all other cable news channels, and yet Obama's minions still thought it was a good strategy to go after the network. Their actions paint a clear picture of an administration that is elitist and arrogant.

Rather than realize they are employing a game plan that will fail, the Obama team has escalated the war. Now they are not only refusing to supply any guests for Fox News programs, but they are also telling other news networks to "join the administration in declaring that Fox is 'not a news organization.'" Remember the picture that Obama and the media painted of him? He was supposed to be the person that brought the country together, right? What we are seeing through his use of race-baiting, prior administration bashing, and now the attacks against Fox News is that the arrogance and elitism of him and his advisers knows no bounds.

How Many Were There - Really?

Even though the following two videos were linked in my previous post, I thought that they deserved a blog post of there own. I found them via THE FIRST AMENDMENT, NOT POLITICALLY CORRECT II: HOW MANY WERE THERE? The blog description says:

The truth about issues and events that affect all of us, but will not usually be seen nor heard in the mainstream news media.

If you go back to this post there are comments there written by two naysayers that claim I am lying about the attendance total at the Washington D.C. TEA Party Rally. With all of the subsequent posts and links of PHOTOS AND VIDEOS THAT DON'T LIE - it should be very obvious that the Media of Mass Deception ARE THE LIARS. If they would lie about an event that has been chronicled AND SHOWN that it was more like 1.2 MILLION AT THE RALLY IN WASHINGTON D.C. - just whom should you believe? The ObamaBORG ROBOTS of deceitful propaganda OR YOUR OWN EYES??

Take a look at the two videos (I also suggest going to the link above to view the charts there) - then you can decide for yourself who the liars are!

Video Link

And here is the video of the protest for pro-ObamaScare Hellcare:

I ask visitors here to answer a question.

If the media is lying to you about this event - one that can be documented and proven that the "75,000 estimated total" of attendance at the Washington D.C. TEA Party rally WAS A LIE - what else are they lying about??

The "Avada Kedavra" of Political Discourse

This is going to be a follow-up to yesterday's post. While conducting my usual blog surfing this morning, I found a post over at Hot Air that contains an analysis that desperately needed to be said. Here-to-fore NO ONE was willing to say it! I'm actually glad that Glenn Beck finally told the truth about Obama's anti-white screeds, and the author at Hot Air, Dr. Zero, expanded upon exactly why the usual liberal leftist hatemongers went bonkers over that one comment!

But first, as you read this I want you to think for a moment and remind yourself of all the horrible things that the leftist Media - including hateful comedians (well...they are comical but often not funny!) the likes of David Letterman and Bill Maher...to name just a few) who mercilessly ripped apart every prominent Conservative leader (especially Sarah Palin).

Glenn Beck and the Unforgivable Curse

Note this portion:

The comment that got Beck in hot water involved calling President Obama a racist, who has “deep-seated hatred for white people of the white culture.” Calling any liberal a “racist” is the Avada Kedavra of political discourse, the Unforgivable Curse. Admittedly, it seems like an unprovoked act of rhetorical aggression. It’s not like Obama and his party have been running around calling everyone who disagrees with them racists, mindless drones, un-American traitors, Nazis, assassins, or Astroturf lawn gnomes who get their opinions from their corporate paymasters. Oh, wait, it’s exactly like that.

That is SO TRUE! Even when a liberal leftist displays outright racism towards whites, they are supposed to get some kind of "pass" for doing so? What the hell is that? Must be just another one of those "Alinsky's rules for radicals."

Hot Air:

Perhaps we could defuse the tension by asking the boycott organizers if they think someone who sat quietly at Klan rallies for twenty years could credibly be accused of racism. I’m sure they would say “no”… and since that’s an accurate analogy for Obama’s decades at Jeremiah Wright’s Church of Racial Hatred, Beck would doubtless be moved to offer a polite apology, and we could call the boycott off. Maybe Beck could give President Obama an autographed copy of his book, with a “Sorry, dude!” inscription. Beck’s thoughtful gift would doubtless secure a place of honor in the White House library, alongside Rules for Radicals by Saul Alinsky, Open Veins of Latin America: Five Centuries of the Pillage of a Continent by Eduardo Galeano, and Fugitive Days: A Memoir by Bill Ayers.
The rest of Beck’s comment, asserting that Obama has “deep-seated hatred for white people of the white culture,” should be easy for the President’s defenders to disprove. All they have to do is cite one positive thing Obama has said or written about white culture. Anywhere. Ever. Hopefully they can get back to us before GMAC needs another taxpayer bailout, to address the self-inflicted financial damage from its participation in the boycott. I wouldn’t recommend wasting any time going through Obama’s university compositions, assuming you can find where they’re buried, and get past the three-headed guard dog. He graduated from Columbia and Harvard, where “deep-seated hatred for white people of the white culture” is written in green on your thesis when the professor hands it back to you, along with “excellent sentence composition!” and “good use of original sources!”

Yep...this, indeed, would be quite a challenge:

"All they have to do is cite one positive thing Obama has said or written about white culture. Anywhere. Ever."

How sad and very tacky it was for Obama to verbally trash his white grandmother during the campaign. He virtually threw his own grandmother under the bus because he couldn't keep his hatred towards whites in check! Perhaps his wife Michelle has ingrained such hatred into her husband over the years that it just comes natural for him to have these "slips of the tongue."

So...I ask...why can't Glenn Beck get a pass for a "slip of the tongue?"

Two reasons.

1. He's white. That's a "curse" in itself to these rabidly racist anti-white people.

2. As the article reveals - calling a liberal "racist" is the "unforgivable curse" to the far left lunatics.

I am telling you - I'M SO SICK OF THIS!!! Obama gets away with all his LIES, CHEATS, THUGS, EARMARKS TO CRONIES, ASSOCIATING AND EMPLOYING RADICALS, CORRUPT AND CRIMINAL CRONIES (I could go on and on). yet Glenn Beck gets targeted for...what? TELLING THE TRUTH ABOUT OBAMA??

THAT is precisely why they are all so angry. THEY KNOW IT'S TRUE - OBAMA IS EXACTLY WHAT BECK SAID:

Obama is a racist, who has “deep-seated hatred for white people of the white culture.”

There. I said it too. So sue me. So curse at me. So harass me. So kill me.

Last time I checked the United States Constitution we still have free speech. Don't know how long it will last under ObamaMARXIST, though. So I will use it while I still can.

Wasn't it Larry Elder who wrote a book called "Ten Things You Can't Say in America?" I wonder if this was one of them? Can't call a liberal a racist! THAT'S A BIG NO - NO!!

And don't give me any bull crap about this bogus POTUS being "president" and deserving some sort of respect. George W. Bush was President (a legitimate Natural Born Citizen, at that!) for eight years and the nutroot crazies called him far more terrible (and untrue!) names.

I'm going to include the rest of the essay here. It's quite good and a must read for everyone!

Hot Air:

There’s no question that Beck’s comment was provocative and rude. If you happen to be in a room with Glenn Beck at the moment, and you’re reading this to him out loud, he probably just shouted “Exactly!” Political and cultural debates always feature provocation and rude behavior. The American media occasionally becomes very prim about this. Strangely enough, these occasions always coincide with the election of a Democrat President. The same people puckering their lips over the heated tone of Beck’s assertions, Sarah Palin’s “death panel” commentary, or the behavior of town-hall protesters, thought the temperature was just peachy when liberals were openly fantasizing about assassinating President Bush. The average liberal couldn’t order a burger and fries at McDonald’s without informing the cashier that Bush was a subhuman cowboy moron.

Our political discourse is heated because the stakes are so high. Obama has wasted trillions of dollars in taxpayer money, threatened the economy with permanent recession through his cap-and-trade bill, and tried to ram through a federal takeover of health insurance without debate. The Administration openly asserts that certain Americans “shouldn’t do a whole lot of talking,” and labels dissent from its agenda un-patriotic. Today we hear rumors that Democrats plan to shove their health-care debacle down the throats of a public that has become increasingly united in opposition to it, using parliamentary “nuclear options” to muscle it through Congress. The public is right to feel a bit testy when Congress talks about using “nuclear options” against it.

We have arrived at a moment when politics determines the survival of entire industries. Broken companies are dug up from shallow graves at the edges of the free market, and reanimated with massive infusions of tax dollars, for the benefit of the politically-connected union infestations that killed them. People who end up on the wrong side of health-care rationing could pay for their unwise 2008 presidential votes with their lives. There is no place where a taxpayer can go to secure a refund for his share of the squandered $787 billion “stimulus” bill… just as there will be no place to go when they discover socialized medicine is a disaster. There will only be a comment box at the local Post Office / Government Surgical Clinic, where you can scribble your complaint on the back of your organ donor card.

It wasn’t supposed to be like this. Average people should not require advanced degrees in medicine and economics to make informed decisions in the voting booth. They don’t have time to study the effects of deficit spending on the bond market, or the sad history of attempts to repeal the laws of supply and demand through subsidies and price controls. They have lives to lead, children to raise, and jobs that give them plenty to worry about. They respond to loud, rude, spectacular things, because they desperately want to believe the situation is simple enough for them to comprehend it, and cast informed, meaningful votes. The Left understands this very well, and grits its teeth when the Right starts playing the game. The people who blew billions of tax dollars fooling voters into thinking they could get “free money” to buy a new car, have no right to complain when a smart lady with a Facebook page coins a phrase that galvanizes opposition to their agenda… or when a guy with 2.5 million viewers uses harsh language to bellow a challenge the media should have issued much more politely, during the presidential campaign, for the benefit of their 50 million viewers.

Americans are becoming increasingly uneasy with the degree of politics that has been infused into every aspect of their lives. They’re only just beginning to realize how much worse this President has made the situation, in the seventy years since his election. (That’s what it feels like, anyway.) People trapped on a runaway train can be forgiven for screaming, especially when the conductor has made it plain that he cannot be talked into easing back on the throttle, and thinks anyone who tries it should be thrown off the train. It’s too bad the media gave Obama so many free passes during the campaign. I can forgive the angry look on Glenn Beck’s face as he tears them up.
