TEA Party Patriots in Congress Acted As a Check on the Power of the Executive Branch

And...the liberal leftists (especially all of those in the Media of Mass Deception who are also complicit in the lies against the TEA Party) who are trying to pin the S & P's downgrade and tanking stock market on the TEA Party, know that they are once again using the old Cloward and Piven and Alinsky Rules for Radicals methods to try and hide their evil plans (and, if they were decent people - their own guilt) in America's economic troubles.

When you know the truth, the truth will set you free.

However, it's going to hurt a bit to realize the truth.

The Blaze has a list of "must reads" posted. But before I list them here, I wanted to encourage Talk Wisdom readers to pay close attention to what Telegraph.co.uk Columnist Janet Daley has written in her piece today.

The idea that a capitalist economy can support a socialist welfare state is collapsing before our eyes, says Janet Daley.

Which of these is the most important question to ask in the present economic crisis: how can we promote growth? Should we pay off government debt more or less quickly? Is the US in worse trouble than Europe? Answer: none of the above.

The truly fundamental question that is at the heart of the disaster toward which we are racing is being debated only in America: is it possible for a free market economy to support a democratic socialist society? On this side of the Atlantic, the model of a national welfare system with comprehensive entitlements, which is paid for by the wealth created through capitalist endeavour, has been accepted (even by parties of the centre-Right) as the essence of post-war political enlightenment.

This was the heaven on earth for which liberal democracy had been striving: a system of wealth redistribution that was merciful but not Marxist, and a guarantee of lifelong economic and social security for everyone that did not involve totalitarian government. This was the ideal the European Union was designed to entrench. It was the dream of Blairism, which adopted it as a replacement for the state socialism of Old Labour. And it is the aspiration of President Obama and his liberal Democrats, who want the United States to become a European-style social democracy.

But the US has a very different historical experience from European countries, with their accretions of national remorse and class guilt: it has a far stronger and more resilient belief in the moral value of liberty and the dangers of state power. This is a political as much as an economic crisis, but not for the reasons that Mr Obama believes. The ruckus that nearly paralysed the US economy last week, and led to the loss of its AAA rating from Standard & Poor’s, arose from a confrontation over the most basic principles of American life.

Contrary to what the Obama Democrats claimed, the face-off in Congress did not mean that the nation’s politics were “dysfunctional”. The politics of the US were functioning precisely as the Founding Fathers intended: the legislature was acting as a check on the power of the executive.

Soros Owns Obama (Added Links)

With all that we know about billionaire, hate-America atheist George Soros and how he funded ObaMarxist 's presidential campaign, how could anyone believe that Obama is a genuine Christian believer? I wrote about the evidence that showed Obama was not a Bible-believing, born-again follower of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, way back in 2008. My suspicions have continued to be confirmed over the course of the last two years. Take a look at the 60 plus posts I have written on the topic of Muslims not to mention how many posts you would find here on Radical Islam and how Obama and his evil cohorts always seem to take the side of Islamists, while hating ordinary Americans who protest at TEA Party events!

Today, I wanted to revisit that first linked post and reiterate the reasons why my points were highly accurate regarding Obama's fake Christianity.

Ask yourself this question. Since Soros absolutely hated George W. Bush (a professed born-again Christian) and spent billions to (unsuccessfully) prevent Bush from becoming president both in 2000 and 2004, why would Soros spend additional billions backing Obama if he ever thought or believed that Obama was a genuine Christian? Just that fact alone supports my belief that Obama is anything but a Christian. Who knows what he is. An atheist? An agnostic? A secret Muslim? All three? Pretending to be all three?

We do know that Obama is a socialist, Marxist, redistribute-the-wealth red diaper doper baby (thanks for that descriptive title, Michael Savage) because the history of his life, including his parents, show them all to be atheistic, Communist-leaning socialists who desire to "transform America" from what the Founders intended (Constitutional Republic) into a member of a global socialist-like "utopia" nation. Trouble is, we know how each and every Communistic experiment in history turned out. Millions of people murdered!

New Zeal has a post up today introducing the blogosphere to a new site called Six Degrees of George Soros. There are some names there that I don't immediately recognize, but I plan to read up on them and their connections to Soros.

I find it somewhat amusing when Glenn Beck shows concern for Obama's "safety" because Soros & cohorts might "cut him loose" from the puppet master strings if he doesn't do their bidding while usurping the Oval Office. I don't think that Obama would be in any danger to his person, per se, but perhaps his political career would come crashing down when all of the media gets the word to trash him because of his failed policies. I suppose Beck has to be magnanimous in his attitudes towards Obama because of the Saudi influence over at Fox News Channel. As I have stated many times before, it is eerie how Beck can go on and on about Obama's Marxist connections to Soros, but his Muslim roots and associations are never investigated by Beck & Company.

would write to suggest that Obama rule by executive order fiat and make Congress irrelevant should chill every American to the bone! If you have been on the sidelines thinking that all is well, you need to WAKE UP and take notice that the progressives would do ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING to keep Obama in power.

We shall see how far the new House in Congress will go (especially the work of Darrell Issa) in exposing all of the criminality that surrounds this White House group of America haters and traitors. The mote of sewage is growing exponentially around these people with each passing day. How much longer will the American people stand by and let their freedoms be taken away by these creepy criminals?

One Trashy Event

When certain events are reported incorrectly by the media of mass deception, one has to wonder whether or not such errors were simply due to laziness on the part of the organization. Or, was it more likely done because of someones stupid attempt at spreading pro-progressive/liberal/Marxist/pro-union bosses/Communist/Socialist/Global warming propaganda? Wow! Glenn Beck should have a field day on both his radio and T.V. shows. He will most likely do a lengthy report on the event and reveal to the public the very low turnout of the One Communist Nation Rally in Washington, D.C. which was held this past Saturday. How ironic it is to see the trash return to the mall - just like it did during the Obama inauguration.

Neil, over at Eternity Matters has a great roundup posted at his blog, including a photo morph of the difference between the crowd that showed up at Glenn Beck's 8/28 Rally and the sparse crowd that was mostly bussed in by union leaders to attend the One Socialist Nation litter fest. [H/T Eternity Matters for still pic - I couldn't get the "morphing" to work here.]

I don't get it. Aren't these people supposed to be the "green" crowd? Ironic Surrealism has the photos to show how trashy the event was. If these people are so worried about the planet, then why do they throw their trash around our nation's capital? Are they so brazen that they think they are too "elite" to pick up after themselves and so just leave it there for someone else to discard? Says a lot about their character - or, more accurately - their lack of character, decency and respect - as it were.

Oh my...while viewing the photos of the trash event, be sure to read the comments over at Ironic Surrealism!

Even though the grounds were so disrespectfully trashed, what was even worse in my mind were all of the anti-American trashy messages given at that garbage fest!

Judging from the results, the astroturfers, many of whom offered free bus rides and box lunches, couldn't come close to Glenn Beck's August 28th rally, held in the same area.

Anti-Colonialism! That term helps sum up just what ObamaBorgLand and his nefarious array of cohorts dislike about America. They are not only for the Marxo-Islamo-Fascist crowd, but are against America because of deep-seeded hatred and an Anti-Colonialism attitude. In Dinesh D'Souza's new book, The Roots of Obama's Rage, Americans are about to find out exactly why Obama wants to "fundamentally transform" America, and how the people who have surrounded him his entire life have attributed to Obama's rage against our Constitutional Republic, our economic system of Capitalism, and our American Ideals.

The Christian Newswire was the site where I first found a positive article about the book.

It's weird. When I first typed in "Dinesh D'Souza's new book" into the Bing search, all of these rabid leftist websites and blogs showed up.

Today, Glenn Beck did most of his show on D'Souza's book. They covered some of the facts found in the book. Tomorrow, it will be revealed how Obama and his cohorts apply opinion to distort the facts and thus ignore the problems that his administration is causing in our Constitutional Republic.

That 56-43 vote on Tuesday’s Defense Authorization Bill troubled me. Four votes down, the senate Democrats must have known this motion for cloture would not succeed. And if so, they would have essentially intended it to fail, by loading it with all its perverse, non-defense provisions: adding taxpayer funded abortion on military bases to its nightmarish DREAM proposal, to repeal of “don’t ask, don’t tell.” So odd, to go through this exercise, of inflaming the country yet again, so close to the General Election, just to cause a bill necessary for funding the American military to fail.

But one must remind, this is our progressive-led Congress, in Washington. Why would they not set up such a failure? After all, they are the ones who appear, busily carrying out the Alinsky and Cloward-Piven strategy (with George Soros, Maurice Strong, and all the UN kleptocrats) not to bring about a change to productive results, rather a truly “transformative change;” one which causes American government, American economics, and American society as a whole, to… fail.

Right, I mean: fail. Big-time, fail.

And why would these Marxists and social Darwinists in DC be so busy to bring that about? For the best evolutionary development, of course.

Evolutionary development? How’s that, again? In neo-Marxist revolutions, such a nationwide failure of self governance is required, to build up the government-dependent, proletariat forces and masses required for the revolution to be “democratic.” The majority have to be made to want it — at least while it happens — if not afterward.

Yes, their “bright,” enlightened souls imagine an evolutionary revolution for America. (Bright? For? I mean a very dark plot against America. When one talks Marxism, words turn inside-out and upside-down.) American collapse is at once a necessary economic product, of drawing out its personal wealth, and a required psychological outcome, in order to get a majority of its People to welcome a series of well-prepared, globalist and Marxofascist solutions to the world crisis caused by America being a failed state.

The result: UN to the rescue. It wasn’t devised by global authoritarians for nothing. All the “world community” would have to do at that point, is connect United Nations global initiatives with America’s continuing, Obama-built (and unconstitutional) national authoritarian infrastructure and Eureka! Manufactured desperation among Americans is met with universal hope and change. And for the rest of the world, it’s too big to fail America is “saved.”

Saved? Again, words fail, as one brings Marxist thought to the semiotic test of forthright language. The authentic America, of government, of, by, and for the Sovereign People would be brought to utter failure in suzerainty to world empire (and they call Americans the “imperialists”).

And speaking of terminology, “National authoritarian infrastructure,” I like that. Has a certain ring to it. The Marxstream media should dub our burgeoning new beast out of DC the NAI.

So, psssst: let’s now call this the Failed State Strategy. When will that book title come out, eh? Someone will make some bucks off that. James Simpson has laid out how it is done. And so informed, the well positioned Glenn Beck gives whopper hints about it, on TV, radio, in print, and in flack-jacketed soliloquy, God save him. And get this part of the plot: to my eyes anyway, they seem to be setting up a crippled and globalist-subverted Republican administration and Congress in D.C., in 2013+ to be the epic target for this epic fail.

Just imagine a GOP-led government in 2013 and onward, trapped in office with the nation crippled and suffocating of our bureaucratic pressures, robbed of our wealth, with no way out, no repealing enough for escape, and no time left, like a deer seized by a python. Meanwhile, the proletariat becomes disturbingly restive — even “disruptive,” to use Francis Fox Piven’s favorite term. Then, another, even more revolutionary hope/change presidency may occur in 2016; more revolution fomented with each twist and turn, as prey America squirms and issues its last breath.

But, don’t tell anyone and maybe I’ll find the time to write the book.

Back to this week’s odd failure. Maybe there is something to learn in this smaller picture. After all, the “progressive” Democrats know their fail!

So there your writer was, wondering about the Defense bill’s failure being some kind of ploy. Then, I came across this, emphasis mine:

Whispers around Capitol Hill are the Defense Authorization bill was never meant to pass. Tuesday’s cloture vote in the Senate on the annual Pentagon budget went down in a 56 – 43 vote. The two Arkansas Democrats Blanche Lincoln and Mark Pryor both crossed party lines and voted with Republicans. Senate majority leader Harry Reid, Nevada Democrat voted no, so the vote could be brought up again at a later time.

Tacked on to the defense bill were controversial measures like the repeal of the military policy known as Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, the pro-amnesty immigration bill called the Dream Act, and allowing abortions on military bases.

Many around the hill were skeptical the bill would get pass a cloture vote given the controversial subject matter and believe Democrats only wanted to fire up their most activist liberal base: pro-amnesty activists, LGBT activists, and pro-choice groups.

That is the first half of the short report. Click to finish and let the Washington Times have a bit more ad revenue. I am not quite sure it explains everything, but it looks like good, conventional wisdom and here is the point, not to be missed. It shows how important it is to the progressives, to keep their proletariat revolutionaries simmering, while more and more apparatchiks learn how to tend their pot, and while tinkering up the “NAI” stove.

Then, as for the big-time Sabotage in Process? As for that show, as Ronald Reagan used to say, “We – ain’t – seen – nothin’ – yet!”

But is America’s epic fail inevitable? Perhaps not, if an humbled to God remnant of the Sovereign American People know the python is attacking now, while not quite yet in its death grip. But be warned. The grip can be so quiet and gradual, and at first, so soft, that a sleeping victim may not even know that subtle tickle is the python at work — not until surrounded, it is much too late.

OK. I will give it a shot.

What it comes down to is this: the White House plus all of their progressive cronies (including the unelected czars and the elected buffoons known as Congressmen and Senators) are all members of the culture of death.

Think about it.

The progressives love and celebrate death!

1. Abortion on demand.

2. Support for Islam - and NEVER criticizing their tenets which include jihad against the West and "death to Israel." "Honor" killings (now there is an evil oxymoron!) of wives and children.

3. Support and/or just plain appeasement of dictators and mad men around the world (i.e. Ahmadinejad, Kim Jong Il, Castro, Chavez); as well as the brutal beasts from history who have killed millions (e.g. Mao, Stalin, Pol Pot,) or "only just hundreds of thousands" (e.g. Saddam Hussein - whom most progressives would have wanted to remain as dictator in Iraq).

Anyone else see the pattern?

The one brutal killer that they do not openly cheer is Hitler. Why? Because they incorrectly claim that he was a "Christian" and "right wing" in ideology. Therefore, he is targeted by the left with scorn.

Another reason why Hitler must be hated by progressives (at least openly) might be because the progressives still want the liberal leftist Jewish voters to remain true to the Democrat party - especially when it comes to donations.

Holocaust deniers (at least those who deny it openly) are treated just like the 9/11 "truthers." You can't say that in public, but even if you really believe it, you can still make it to a "Green Jobs" Czar position (Van Jones) as long as a YouTube video doesn't surface or membership in the "truthers" crowd comes out. When that happens you must be placed in a more - shall we say - "Weathermen Underground" position; which is where Jones ended up. However, those in the know already realize that the juggling of Jones within the administration has been already exposed by Glenn Beck.

There have been conservative bloggers who have speculated that the progressives will have another manufactured crisis of some sort (like the economic crash that started in October, 2008 which ended up getting ObaMAO elected) up their tricky sleeves to turn people back towards Obama and his ilk. I seriously doubt that it would work, however. The majority of the American people who are paying attention to the overt destruction going on in our nation by the progressive tyrants will not get fooled again. I am reminded of the old saying, "Fool me once - shame on you. Fool me twice - shame on me."

So what is left?

Perhaps a manufactured crisis of some sort that will require dictator Obama to institute martial law? Hey - they are working hard on collapsing the economy, keeping the unemployed dependent on government hand-outs, crushing us with debt we can never pay back, taxing us up the ying-yang, destroying capitalism and demolishing small business owners. Not to mention the havoc bing inflicted via all of the sinful socialist agenda that they are pushing on America. Would they go so far as to cancel the election of 2010? We will have to wait and see. Nothing would surprise me anymore from these cruel and evil people.

That is what they are - CRUEL AND EVIL. Isn't every dictator? Shame on all of the minions who still, despite all of the evidence being shown against the pawn-in-chief and his puppeteers, follow such cruelty and evil.

This is an excellent post! It captures what millions of Americans are thinking, feeling, and worrying about regarding Obama the narcissist and his evil cohorts.

Hope you don't mind if I add one thing, however. All of Obama's obvious problems - mental, emotional, social, political, etc. - which have been so eloquently listed in the original post here, as well as within many of the comments and links provided - have one thing in common. They are rooted in the fact that he (and all of the radical leftist progressives who agree, follow, and support him) and they have a severe spiritual problem.

The fact that Islam has its roots in paganism, shows us how well acceptance of its radical ideals fit in with the ideology of Marxism.

While participating in the ongoing discussion at Sarah Palin's FaceBook page I noticed the horror that most commentators have been sharing there. They wonder how any sane American could even consider the ludicrous idea of building a mosque at Ground Zero. I also noticed that several lefties wrote "we all worship the same God." I tried to educate them with a link to my blogpost so that they could read some facts and see how wrong they are. I also included links to an Australian Christian scholar's blog who wrote two excellent blog posts that the "we all worship the same God" myth is absolutely not true - and why it logically can't be true!

There is no way one can equate our Judeo-Christian God with the false pagan moon-god they label as "allah." The type of mindset that Obama possesses is totally anathema to the God of the Bible and the Judeo-Christian roots upon which our Founders built our Constitutional Republic. The United States of America, and Her Founding Documents were built upon Judeo-Christian morals, laws, and values. The lack of recognition of these facts and the spiritual deception that Obama and his ilk are under is the main reason why he and his cohorts are wreaking havoc upon this nation.

I want to know - when will we reach the point where enough is enough? We must stand up against this radical takeover of America and oust the perpetrators!

I continue to pray each day that this national nightmare will end soon. What Obama and his evil cohorts are doing to America is OUTRIGHT CRIMINAL and they all belong in jail because they are traitors to this nation!

[An important digression: I make this latter point about old vs. new law because we often hear the criticism of Shariah that it is bad and primitive because it is “Medieval law” as if that is enough to condemn it. But by implication, the person who makes this criticism, is in effect embracing the “progressivist” or Hegelian teaching that Time/History is the one transcendence that saves us from the nihilism of relativism (all morals are relative except that a new moral is better than an old one), which allows the Leftist/Elites to clamor on about “progress” and the latest version of this, “hope and CHANGE”. And, if you give it a half-second’s worth of thought, you’ll realize why the progressivism of the Elite is tyranny [hint: there are no transcendent boundaries only time as a measure of progress]. It also impacts our constitutional jurisprudence. If old is bad simply, then granting the Supreme Court the authority (to which Marbury v Madison effectively opened the door) to “re-interpret” [read: re-write or amend by judicial fiat] the Constitution to mirror the “progress” and “change” in society must be a good thing. Obama’s scientific experts did--indeed--provide the dictator-in-chief with his requested--demanded--report. However, it did not go far enough for The Obama. So, Obama’s Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar surreptitiously “added” a few paragraphs at the end of the report suggesting the experts had recommended a cessation in drilling for oil. But, nothing could be further from the truth. The experts--via Ken Arnold--advised Fox News: “None of us actually reviewed the [Salazar revised] memorandum as it is in the report." Arnold said that it was a false addition and that not one of those preparing the report had recommended any cessation in drilling. In fact, he and the other experts said that doing so would be devastating to the US economy. Surprise! Obama & Co lied again in order to get their way. Salazar, of course, said he was sorry for the lie. But as we know, in ObamaLand, the end--whatever is employed by the Marxists to get there--justifies ANY means used and being a Marxist-Democrat means saying you’re sorry is all that’s needed. And the ObamaMedia will continue to largely ignore the oppression.

Obama’s Police State Begins in earnest

This all could have been handled as the Saudi's did in their massive spill, but Obama denied, defied and dithered any action to take place to alieviate this until a month into this. It is all so completely Obama motive in repeated criminal process that I honestly wonder how long it is going to take a united voice from the pundits to point out what this blog has revealed from the beginning in Obama deliberately did all this.

Obama is thee most heinous environmental holocaust instigator since Saddam Hussein, and if the Gulf were Jews instead of gulls, he would have even surpassed Adolf Hitler's final solution.

I state none of that lightly as Obama wiped out deliberately the GOP Gulf States. He is in process destroying 1 million jobs there in a Super Depression.

Rahm Emanuel cynically said, "You never want a crisis to go to waste." It is now becoming clear that the crisis he was referring to is Barack Obama's presidency.

Obama is no fool. He is not incompetent. To the contrary, he is brilliant. He knows exactly what he's doing. He is purposely overwhelming the U.S. economy to create systemic failure, economic crisis and social chaos -- thereby destroying capitalism and our country from within.

Barack Obama is my college classmate (Columbia University, class of '83). As Glenn Beck correctly predicted from day one, Obama is following the plan of Cloward & Piven, two professors at Columbia University. They outlined a plan to socialize America by overwhelming the system with government spending and entitlement demands. Add up the clues below. Taken individually they're alarming. Taken as a whole, it is a brilliant, Machiavellian game plan to turn the United States into a socialist/Marxist state with a permanent majority that desperately needs government for survival ... and can be counted on to always vote for bigger government. Why not? They have no responsibility to pay for it.

-- Universal health care. The health care bill had very little to do with health care. It had everything to do with unionizing millions of hospital and health care workers, as well as adding 15,000 to 20,000 new IRS agents (who will join government employee unions). Obama doesn't care that giving free health care to 30 million Americans will add trillions to the national debt. What he does care about is that it cements the dependence of those 30 million voters to Democrats and big government. Who but a socialist revolutionary would pass this reckless spending bill in the middle of a depression?

-- Cap and trade. Like health care legislation having nothing to do with health care, cap and trade has nothing to do with global warming. It has everything to do with redistribution of income, government control of the economy and a criminal payoff to Obama's biggest contributors. Those powerful and wealthy unions and contributors (like GE, which owns NBC, MSNBC and CNBC) can then be counted on to support everything Obama wants. They will kick-back hundreds of millions of dollars in contributions to Obama and the Democratic Party to keep them in power. The bonus is that all the new taxes on Americans with bigger cars, bigger homes and businesses helps Obama "spread the wealth around."

-- Make Puerto Rico a state. Why? Who's asking for a 51st state? Who's asking for millions of new welfare recipients and government entitlement addicts in the middle of a depression? Certainly not American taxpayers. But this has been Obama's plan all along. His goal is to add two new Democrat senators, five Democrat congressman and a million loyal Democratic voters who are dependent on big government.

-- Legalize 12 million illegal immigrants. Just giving these 12 million potential new citizens free health care alone could overwhelm the system and bankrupt America. But it adds 12 million reliable new Democrat voters who can be counted on to support big government. Add another few trillion dollars in welfare, aid to dependent children, food stamps, free medical, education, tax credits for the poor, and eventually Social Security.

-- Stimulus and bailouts. Where did all that money go? It went to Democrat contributors, organizations (ACORN), and unions -- including billions of dollars to save or create jobs of government employees across the country. It went to save GM and Chrysler so that their employees could keep paying union dues. It went to AIG so that Goldman Sachs could be bailed out (after giving Obama almost $1 million in contributions). A staggering $125 billion went to teachers (thereby protecting their union dues). All those public employees will vote loyally Democrat to protect their bloated salaries and pensions that are bankrupting America. The country goes broke, future generations face a bleak future, but Obama, the Democrat Party, government, and the unions grow more powerful. The ends justify the means.

-- Raise taxes on small business owners, high-income earners, and job creators. Put the entire burden on only the top 20 percent of taxpayers, redistribute the income, punish success, and reward those who did nothing to deserve it (except vote for Obama). Reagan wanted to dramatically cut taxes in order to starve the government. Obama wants to dramatically raise taxes to starve his political opposition.

With the acts outlined above, Obama and his regime have created a vast and rapidly expanding constituency of voters dependent on big government; a vast privileged class of public employees who work for big government; and a government dedicated to destroying capitalism and installing themselves as socialist rulers by overwhelming the system.

Add it up and you've got the perfect Marxist scheme -- all devised by my Columbia University college classmate Barack Obama.

Former United States Ambassador to the United Nations, John Bolton, had comforting words regarding Obama. When he is voted out of office, his terrible policies can, and will be overturned.

I hope that he gets booted out sooner than 2012. Perhaps the Blago trial * (or, any one of the other lawsuit cases against him) will bring an indictment down against him and force him from office.

Is Eco-Terrorism Involved in Gulf Oil Disaster?

Despite the fact that I was tired last night, my mind was reeling about this gangster administration and the Gulf Oil Disaster. The trouble and staggering reality of it all would not allow me to fall asleep. Two things were deeply disturbing to me. Usually, having a small bowl of cereal, laying on the couch and watching the news lulls me to sleep quite easily. However, for some reason, my typical "help me get to sleep" routine didn't work. I was highly bothered by two things.

1. What Glenn Beck presented on his program yesterday. In fact, I watched the show for a second time at 11:00 p.m. PT. Glenn's points were made even more clear after viewing the show again.

2. Viewing the constant gushing of the BP Oil Disaster on CNN's Anderson Cooper show.

So many questions kept coming to my mind!!

Why isn't Obama meeting with the BP CEO?

Why aren't those in charge utilizing any of the ideas that have been put out there by individuals to clean up the oil slick and plug the hole in the pipe? People...SOMETHING IS TERRIBLY WRONG IN THIS SCENARIO!!

Why was Nancy Pelosi shouted down for 30 minutes by the liberal far left lunatics that they have embraced in the Democratic party?

Why didn't Nancy Pelosi fear these Code Pink radicals at the meeting - like she claimed to fear the TEA Party protesters who haven't done any violence and have NEVER thrown anything at her?

Why was James Carville so openly furious with the Obama Administration's lack of attention and help in this disaster? Don't they usually protect the Resident in Chief from criticism?

There are many more questions, but these will do for now.

Weeks ago, I mentioned to my husband that there are conspiracy theorists who think that Obama was using this disaster to ruin the oil drilling industry in America so that he could pass Cap and Trade. He thought that was highly unlikely. He didn't think that even Obama could be that evil! Well, someone has finally asked a very important question that has probably been on the minds of many Americans since over 50 days have gone by and NOTHING is being done to stop the spewing of oil into the Gulf. After all, didn't Rahm "dead fish" Emanuel once state that "we should never let a good crisis go to waste?"

Is Obama an eco-terrorist or a bungler? You decide.

If the US government had ok’d the Dutch offer for oil spill cleanup assistance,tendered three days after the BP spill leading to the greatest ecological disaster of all time, Louisiana would not be cleaning up its beaches and the backs of oil-smeared pelicans. Its fishermen and shrimp boats would still be on the job. And there would have been no need to destroy tens of thousands of offshore oil platform jobs as Obama has done by issuing a halt order on most offshore drilling. Help was available, but Obama was likely following Rahm Emanuel’s advice not to let a good crisis go to waste. Can you say Scoundrel-in-Chief now? Please try it. It’s cathartic.

I am about to say what most of you have been thinking all along:

How dare a president who once promised to clean up our planet deliberately delay a desperately needed cleanup of our precious Gulf for the obvious purpose of creating an excuse to deny offshore drilling permits — and at a time when the jobs on these oil platforms are so desperately needed?

The slanderous, clueless media lambasted Bush mercilessly for waiting 2 and a half hours to make a decision to send help after he learned the levee had broken in New Orleans.

Let’s see: it has been almost 2 months now. Only about 45 days after the spill, after untold amounts of fish and wildlife have been killed and injured, is your government preparing to accept assistance that was tendered by one of the most credible agencies imaginable – the Dutch government – just three days after the spill.

There can only be two possible explanations:

Ecoterrorism, the deliberate destruction of habitat, is generally attributed to lone vigilante types acting out their own impulses in a mad effort to influence public opinion and hence government regulation. Yet, what has happened to our Gulf these last 40 some days suggests that ecoterrorism may well have entered government, with the possible collaboration of high ranking persons in the business sector. I know that may sound off the wall, but consider the open, known Marxists surrounding this president and the degree to which business is increasingly partnered with government, in a scheme more and more observers are calling either fascism or corporatism. Free market capitalism has all but vanished.

There is only one other possibility:

Obama is clueless. Without a clue, with no palpable science, technology or business background, and therefore having no idea which experts to trust, Obama would have simply let the Gulf be permanently destroyed rather than get involved and show his profound ignorance and total incompetence as a problem solver.

Those are your two options:

Either high level ecoterror, or incompetence. Or maybe a combination of the two?

If Obama were competent to sit in the Oval Office, this would be criminal.

But you know what? I am feeling generous. I’m willing to give Barack Obama the benefit of the doubt. Let’s let him off the hook and just call him an incompetent bungling idiot.

At any rate, this late acceptance of an early offer is the first glimmer of real hope — by June 13, they should be starting what could have — and should have – been started on April 23.

If any of you are letting that old “respect for the office” routine interfere with normal brain activity, it is high time to kick that habit right now and switch on your brain again. You’ll need it no later than November to vote out the bottom-feeding scum that rubber stamps everything our Marxist-in-Chief asks for.

If you watched Glenn's show yesterday, you will see that there is a definite divide between the Democrat politicians and the far left Marxist revolutionaries (like Code Pink) who shouted at Pelosi, "WE WANT OUR MONEY AND WE WANT IT NOW!" They want PAY BACK for getting Obama elected! They were apparently promised certain things and since these "things" are not happening fast enough, they are angry and lashing out at their former politician pals. [See Daily Thought Pad for segments of the Glenn Beck show.]

At the end of his presentation, Glenn asked the question, "where does Obama fit in?" Is he in with the politicians or the far left revolutionaries?

Andy McCarthy’s vital new book, The Grand Jihad: How Islam and the Left Sabotage America, was published last week. The author, a former federal prosecutor, discusses the looming threats both foreign and domestic:

Q. Why did you write this book? Surely, you’re overstating the threat to the American way of life from radical Islam.

We’re 17 years removed from the declaration of a jihadist war against the United States, the bombing of the World Trade Center, and nearly a decade removed from the jihadist atrocities of 9/11. Yet, as recently as last week, we heard President Obama’s top counterterrorism adviser insist that Islam has nothing to do with the threat facing us and that because Islam is, by his lights, benign, and so is jihad — merely an internal struggle to “purify” oneself or one’s community. In point of fact, we are facing a movement that is very mainstream among the world’s 1.4 billion Muslims, a movement that unabashedly declares itself as engaged in a “civilizational” war against America and the West. I don’t think I’m overstating the threat; I think I’m reporting the threat precisely as our enemies have stated it, notwithstanding that our political leadership won’t come to grips with the fact that we have enemies, let alone with the ideology that catalyzes them.

Q. You open with the memorable moment when President Obama bowed to the Saudi King. Although you dismiss the notion that Obama is some kind of “Manchurian Muslim,” why else would he do such a thing? In fact, why is he so loath to speak out against any Muslim, anywhere, if on some level he does not share either religious or cultural sympathies with them?

There is a difference between being a Muslim, which Obama is not, and sharing religious and cultural sympathies with Muslims — indeed, adhering to much of the Islamist narrative that blames America for our tensions with Muslims — which Obama surely does. As I explain in the book, based on a comparative study of Islamist and Leftist ideologies (particularly Qutb and Rousseau) as well as on numerous historic and present-day examples of cooperation between Islamists and Leftists, there is immense common ground between these two camps. Both are authoritarian systems, totalitarian in the sense that they want to control every aspect of the individual’s life, and virulently opposed to capitalism and individual liberty. President Obama is the leader of the modern hard Left and King Abdullah — whose title is Keeper of the Two Holy Mosques, Islam’s crown jewels of Mecca and Medina — is the emblem of the global Islamist movement. They share a common goal of radically transforming the West. Even though they part company on the details of what they would transform it into, they both need to topple American constitutional republicanism in order to install their utopias.

Q. The heart of your book is the argument that the Left and Islam have made an alliance of convenience, sharing a common enemy, which is classical Western civilization. Some dismiss this idea with the riposte that the Left will suffer as much if not more than anybody under Sharia Law. How do you answer them?

The Left has colluded with Islamists numerous times in the past: Iranian communists supported Khomeini against the Shah, Nasser confederated with the Muslim Brotherhood against the Egyptian monarchy, the PLO has always combined Leftists and Islamists, the Pakistani People’s Party still regards its program as Islamic socialism (which is also the way Nasser saw his program), etc. This should surprise no one. Rousseau, the father of modern radical movements, was an admirer of Islam — mainly because it rejects the separation between the spiritual and secular realms. And just look around you: Who is al Qaeda’s main lawyer? The Leftist Center for Constitutional Rights. Who is CAIR’s reliable partner in litigation opposing sensible national security measure’s? The ACLU. Islamist groups like the Muslim Public Affairs Council were very active championing Obama’s big-government takeover of healthcare. The Muslim Brotherhood, which is the architect and chief theoretician of the global Islamist movement, is aggressively Leftist in its political and social programs.

So it seems silly to me to rationalize that the Left has lots to lose in a partnership with Islamists — as if we were talking about a hypothetical. The cooperation is happening. The better question is: Why? The easy answer is that the two sides have more in common than they have in opposition. Moreover, to say that the Left would suffer more than anyone under Sharia law misses the point. We are not in a situation where the only ones left are the radical Left and the Islamists — where they would square off against each other. Instead, we are at a point in history when they both have a more pressing common enemy: the culture of freedom in the West. As they have done numerous times in the past, they will work together to try to defeat that enemy. Once that happens — if we let it happen — then they can figure out which one is the crocodile and which one the last appeaser to be eaten.

Q. To what do you attribute the MSM’s reluctance to explore these questions? Does the “narrative” of the First Black President outweigh everything else? Are they lazy? Complicit? Some combination of all three?

The MSM has its roots in the modern Left: It is a product of the J-schools and Democratic Party politics. It has fostered our suffocating climate of political correctness in which America is always at fault, Obama is the savior, and Islam is an unalloyed societal good — to the point that even when a jihadist at Fort Hood, while screaming “Allahu Akbar!”, mass-murders twice as many people as were killed in the 1993 WTC bombing, the MSM (like our government) would rather gouge its eyes out than admit that the savage was a Muslim. There is laziness in the journalism biz just like there is everyplace else, but for the most part today’s journalists are invested in the Left’s ascendancy. We are living in their world.

Q. Why are Americans so slow to pick up the concepts of dawa and jihad?

For two reasons. First, our political leadership — including administrations of both parties — has been desperate to suppress Islamic doctrine’s role in fueling terrorism committed by Muslims. Second, though Islam aspires to be much more than a religion (it is an all-encompassing legal, political and social system from which the spiritual elements are indivisible), it is given the label of “religion.” We have an admirable impulse in the West not to pry into other people’s belief systems. Beyond that, no one wants to be accused of religious bigotry by a grievance industry dominated by Leftists and Islamists. Think about it this way: despite the enormity of evil and peril involved in terrorist attacks that have now claimed thousands of lives, we can’t get people to focus on the ideology behind violent jihad. How much more difficult it is, then, to get them focused on the less immediate threat of dawa, which Robert Spencer aptly describes as the stealth (generally nonviolent) form of jihad. Unless people perceive the challenge as truly threatening, they will never pick up on these concepts. The Islamist and Leftist groups are trying to keep them asleep. My book is a modest attempt to wake them up.

Q. Discuss the role of Political Correctness in our apprehension, or lack of it, of Islam.

As I’ve said, political correctness has a lot to do with our lack of apprehension. But so does flat out extortion. When people speak out against Islamist supremacism, they are threatened and sometimes killed — and the reaction of our opinion elites is to condemn the victims for being provocative. So we get to the absurd point where Yale University Press purges depictions of the Danish cartoons in a book about the Danish cartoons that sparked Islamist rioting. In the Flying Imams incident, which I consider in detail in the book, efforts are made to sue the passengers who reported the imams’ reprehensible conduct — and the airline, after some terrible rulings by a judge sympathetic to the Islamists, ends up having to pay a settlement. This is political correctness with some real teeth, and its unmistakable message is: If you see something, say nothing.

Q. Isn’t one of the problems that we continue to think in terms of nation-states, whereas Islam disdains such a concept in favor of the ummah?

Well, I prefer to think in terms of nation-states because, if we are saved, nation-states will play a major role in that. Nation-states are much more apt to pursue their interests, including their defense, than the alternative: international organizations run by transnational progressives who are a big part of the problem. It is undeniably true, though, that Islamists reject the Westphalian world order — and we should bear that in mind when they prattle about how much they purportedly love America and other Western countries, and how they’re just challenging us to live up to “our values.”

Q. What’s it going to take for us to wake up? If and when an American city is nuked will we even fight back? Or will the lawyers and the JAGs find legalistic excuses for inaction?

It’s going to take a solution from outside of government: the American people have to be made aware of the threat we face — which is much broader and more insidious than terrorism — and they have to demand action. This is not unheard of. Public outrage has been very effective in stopping some of our political leadership’s worst agenda items — comprehensive immigration reform and the closing of Gitmo come to mind; we came very close to derailing Obamacare and we still have a chance of reversing it before it goes into effect. But it is going to take public awareness and passion. I hope it doesn’t take a catastrophic nuclear attack, but — sad to say — 9/11 obviously didn’t grab people like it should have. In many ways, we’re worse off today.

Q. Is there a Martel, a Sobieski or a Kitchener on the horizon, or have we arrived at the Spenglerian end of western power?

The American people are an endlessly resourceful and energetic people. While dependency culture has made alarming inroads, I still believe we are passionate about our freedom, and we will fight for it once it is clear that the fight has to be made. But I admit, it’s late in the day.

Q. There must be one bright spot, right… Right?

It is still possible for us to have this conversation and to be very candid about what we’re up against. In a lot of places, that can’t happen, and if the Obama administration continues canoodling with the likes of the Organization of the Islamic Conference — which wants to criminalize any critical discussion of Islam — we’ll need to worry that America could become one of those places. For now, it’s not. For now, we still have our rights to speak, to persuade, and to act in our defense. There are real points of disagreement between Islam and the Left. They combine because they sense their mutual enemy, our freedom culture, is very potent. If that culture were fatally weak, they’d already have won. They haven’t … and they’re still a ways from achieving their aspirations. To me, that’s a pretty bright spot.

In light of this interview, that sign makes more sense now, doesn't it?

The Islamists think that they will defeat their former cooperative cohorts - the Marxists - and the Marxists think that they will ultimately triumph over the Islamists.

Please consider alerting your family, neighbors, friends and acquaintances to the danger that the unholy alliance of Marxism and Islamic Jihad presents to the United States of America, and all other Western nations that hold to the desire for freedom and liberty, smaller government, a strong military to protect our nation and border. We want the ability to pursue economic entrepreneurism and wealth-building capitalistic enterprises without the intrusion of big government. Most importantly, WE THE PEOPLE here in America want to hold onto our sovereignty and RESTORE the Constitutional Republic form of government originally given to us by our Founding Fathers.

Those who do not read blogs and depend entirely on the controlled network news probably have no idea what is really going with the unholy alliance of Islam and Marxism behind the scenes here in America.

The title of Andrew McCarthy's new book isn't something he made up, it is taken from a 1990s document from a "mainstream" "non-violent" Muslim organization describing their long term goal of hollowing out Western culture using its own values of tolerance and religious freedom. Note that Islamic countries do NOT allow tolerance and religious freedom in anything like the Western manner. And their two holiest cities are closed to us non-Muslims because we are unworthy to enter such holy places. Once they have hollowed out Europe, America, and other nations, they can fill the void with Sharia, which is the Muslim law and turn these nations into Islamic countries and their Grand Jihad will have achieved victory. Note, that terror is not necessarily part of this strategy.

In fact, Al Qaeda and their brother terrorist groups are frowned at in some of this Salafi circles. Others see them as tools that supply cover for their "moderate" work. But make no mistake about it, McCarthy warns, the goal of the Islamist moderates and the terrorists is the same. They desire the collapse of the West and the rise of Islam as the ruling way of life throughout the world. To the extent that Sharia spreads into Western democracies the strategy of "Grand Jihad" is victorious.

Have you heard of the Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani? He is a very powerful Shia cleric and deemed by our U.S. government as a "moderate" and key ally in Iraq. He teaches that we non-Muslims should not be touched or even associated with. That we, as non-believers, are filth no different than feces, urine, pigs and the like. Does that sound like moderation and mutual respect to you?

Islam is not a religion in the sense that the West currently views its various "faith communities" that are one aspect of the lives we assemble for ourselves from the lavish and extensive buffet we call our Western Culture. Islam is a faith, but it is more than that. In the Salafi view of Islam it is a complete way of life. Everything is settled and has been settled since around 900 A.D.. Well, they wouldn't use A.D. and I know it is fashionable to use C.E. nowadays, but I'm a Christian and will count my own years, thank you very much.

McCarthy also demonstrates how the post-Modern Left philosophies make us blind to this very real threat. We can't call terrorists what they are. We can't admit to ourselves what Islam is really about or even what Jihad actually means to hundreds of millions of Muslims or that this non-violent approach to conquering the West exists. This despite the fact that Sharia is making inroads into British, Dutch, and French jurisprudence. That there are whole sections of major cities in Europe that have been left to Muslim gangs to run because police cannot even enter them.

The Left elites advise that we can't use the word victory or that we are even at war with some kind of Islamic philosophy. These jihadist Islamist terrorists send a bomber into Detroit, my hometown, in order to blow a plane out of the sky on Christmas Day, a high Holy Day that most Americans observe, and our government's first instinct is to lie to us and tell us he is acting alone and that it has nothing to do with terror or Islam. But our enemies know they are at war with us and say so. And we refuse to accept the fight. Will that really end well? Where we are actually in armed conflict with them we refuse to press our advantages and let the other side dictate the rules of engagement: that we can't fight at night or shoot until shot upon and we see their weapons, and so forth. They respect only strength and we hope to appease through weakness and bowing. We need to wake up.

This is a terrific, powerful, and very informative work. I hope you pick up a copy today and read it and share it with everyone you know. Andrew McCarthy knows what he writes about. That his critics viciously attack him personally rather than debate his arguments is strong evidence that he is spot on in his observations and strong in his arguments.

We need to stand up and engage this war of civilizations at all levels. Folks, this is not going to go away. Our enemy is implacable, patient, and relentless. We have to be stronger, more tenacious, and willing to endure all things until we achieve victory. But first we have to allow ourselves to call things by their right names.
