More “Free-Speech” Sleight-of-Hand From Obama Regime

With all the news coverage on Hurricane Irene, it might be easy to miss one of the more recent sleight-of-hand tactics recently employed by the Obamafraud regime.


Recall the Fairness Doctrine. One commentator over at NewsBusters said it well:

The "Fairness Doctrine" has nothing to do with fairness. It is to protect the speech of radical minorities and overpower those who promote rational debate.

It has been pushed upon the American people since way back in 1949 by the progressive loonies who thought that Americans wouldn't notice their deceitful practices. To be brief, the Fairness Doctrine was a misnomer that claimed talk radio needed to be balanced by providing the same amount of lefty progressive commentators as there are right conservative commentators. It was imposed to ensure the broadcasters gave equal time to differing political opinions.

The trouble is, when implemented, the lefty talk shows had far fewer listeners than the conservative ones anyway! Many of the failed progressive radio shows were cancelled. Therefore, demanding that "equal time to differing political opinions" be imposed made the loony lefties think that they would get the upper hand in talk radio.


The Obama gangster government tried to instill this stupid doctrine, once again, earlier in the beginning of this regime. Didn't work. Too many people were on to them and prevented the FCC from implementing it again.


Fast forward to August, 2011. It was announced by the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) that the "the Fairness Doctrine is now officially dead." Sounds good, right? Not so fast! Take a look at this email letter I recently received that tells the truth of the matter:

More “free-speech” sleight-of-hand is coming from the Obama Administration. Early this week, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) announced they were doing away with what we have called the Censorship Doctrine - the so-called “Fairness” Doctrine. This federal doctrine, a relic from 1949, was imposed to ensure the broadcasters gave equal time to differing political opinions.

Great news, right? Not so fast . . .

According to Media Research Center founder Brent Bozell, the FCC “deserves one-handed applause” for the move. Before striking the politically volatile “Fairness Doctrine,” the FCC implemented rules of “localism,” “media diversity,” and a nebulous requirement to “serve the public interest.” All designed to empower the FCC to limit speech they don’t like.
As Brent points out, “the path to censor radio airwaves has been long paved through the back door.”

The FCC is making a big deal about the repeal of the “Fairness Doctrine, because they have put other tools in place to accomplish the same goals. Among others, these tools are “localism” and “diversity.”

Christine, under the nefarious concept of localism, unelected and unaccountable statists at the FCC could in regulate how much time broadcasters must dedicate to so-called local issues (as defined by the FCC) – in effect limiting the amount of time they can give to programming their listeners want to hear.

Under government mandated “diversity” in station ownership, a station owner could have his application to renew his license denied for no reason other than there being a lack of minority owned stations in their listening area. Across the rest of the federal government the people working as affirmative action bean counters have consistently shown that their ultra left-wing belief system takes priority over the rule of law.

Generations of American soldiers, sailors and marines didn’t die so that the First Amendment could be repealed by overpaid government employees at the FCC. These regulations do not exist for their stated purpose. They exist only a sneaky means for leftists in the permanent federal bureaucracy to control what the American people can hear.

The threats of government control and censorship are alive and well in the U.S. The free speech rights of EVERY American are threatened -- not to mention the fate of political free speech on radio airwaves!

Liberals know that silencing us will help them to advance their socialist agenda -- unchallenged and under the radar.

So...What Happened to Beck's Friday Show? [Update]

By now, most bloggers have already heard that Fox News is discontinuing Glenn Beck's daily T.V. program. It is not clear how soon he will depart, but from what I understand, his current contract runs out at the end of December.

So many of the rabid liberals are claiming "victory," but should they? The various Soros-led organization creeps have been trying to get Beck off the air for at least a year. Why would their continuous failures to utilize boycotts against Beck's sponsors for over 12 months suddenly change minds at Fox News now?

I've been thinking about this new development regarding Beck's show and I had a gut feeling that the REAL reason for Glenn's departure might be something other than Beck's successful exposure of the evil Soros and his communist "new world order" ilk. After all, even though there are claims that Beck's ratings went down, his show still trounced the competition in that time slot. So, what gives?

I wanted to write about it this weekend, but decided to wait to see what would be broadcast on Glenn's show today during his week-long absence (while he is on tour with a live show). Now that Beck's show has already been broadcast today and Judge Andrew Napolitano subbed for him, I can share my suspicions about the REAL reason Beck is leaving his daily show.

Let me back up a bit.

Over the weekend, I read a very interesting post via "Evil Conservative blog" that told a story that Rupert Murdoch's son (and heir apparent) has been elevated to the "number three" rank of company executives and is thought to already be calling some of the shots for the network.

OK. I have now set the stage for my theory.

On Wednesday (or Thursday?) of last week, I heard a segment of Glenn's radio show where he had a discussion with evangelist Pastor John Hagee. They were discussing Hagee's upcoming appearance on Beck's show (Friday, April 8, 2011). It was entitled "Standing With Israel." Hagee is well known for being a supporter of Israel and God's chosen people - the Jews.

Of course, Glenn's show was preempted on this particular Friday because of the budget battle crisis that was looming towards a possible shut-down of the federal government. That's understandable. However, Beck's Friday shows are usually taped in advance, so why wasn't it shown today (Monday, April 11, 2011)?

I wondered whether or not I may have missed the broadcast over the weekend, so I checked the Watch Glenn Beck website that usually has a video up of each day's T.V. program. As you will see, the last video up at the site is the broadcast of Thursday, April 7, 2011.

Diana West? I think that you are on to something!

What connects these disparate incidents? Beside a short time-frame, I don't know. I do know James Murdoch is known for his trash talk about Israel (sez the Palestinians "were kicked out of their f— homes and had nowhere to f— live"), his green enthusiasms (News Corp. is the first entertainment conglom to be "carbon neutral") and for being a former hip hop impressario (wow; not my dream date). The 38-year-old is also very, very close to 56-year-old Prince Talal, and was Talal's choice to succeed Murdoch (chalk one up for Talal).

Not one to let politics to get in the way of profits, I am sure, it is also the case that as a Talal-pal (not to mention everything else), James is likely to keep certain things out of the way of Fox politics. I would imagine that Hannity's recent maiden voyages into "sharia" talk (bet that's all over with) and Beck's ongoing explorations of sharia and Islam don't fit his bill.

November 30th, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) could potentially engage in one of the largest federal power grabs we have ever seen.

After two years of this Presidential Administration and this Congress, that is saying an awful lot about an awful lot.

And what’s worse, the FCC would be doing it without Congress weighing in. At the FCC’s November meeting – note the coincidental date of choice, AFTER the impending election – three unelected bureaucrats (of five) could simply vote themselves rulers of 1/6th of our entire economy – the information and technology sector.

Meaning the Internet that you currently enjoy – that has been a marvel of economic and information innovation and success – will be subject to vast new governmental regulations. You didn’t elect these people – but they are on the verge of electing themselves Internet overlords.

The Internet is the future – and increasingly the present – of news and information delivery. With each passing day, we move a little further away from the old media models – print, broadcast and cable television, radio – and towards an all-Web world. Eventually, most or all of the news and information we get – written, and spoken into microphones and cameras – will be on and for the Internet.

And we are on the verge of having this new world – the all-encompassing future of First Amendment free speech in America – swallowed up by three unelected D.C. bureaucrats and their Commission.


This is one of the most important battles ever waged in Washington – and precious little is known about it outside the Beltway.

What we are talking about is Internet reclassification. What that means is the FCC – which by its own admission doesn’t have authority over the Web – would just vote itself said authority. By reclassifying the Internet – so that it would be subject to the same rules as landline telephones.

The FCC has long had tremendous power over landline telephones, which is why there has been so much incredible innovation with them these last 70+ years. (Note: tremendous sarcasm here.)

The FCC has no power over the Internet because the FCC doesn’t have power over anything until Congress writes a law saying they do. And Congress has never done this for the FCC with the Internet.

It’s not just me saying this. 299 members of Congress have said so – a large bipartisan majority. More than 150 organizations, state legislators and bloggers have said so. So have seventeen minority groups – that are usually almost always in Democrat lockstep.

So have many additional normally Democrat paragons, including several large unions: AFL-CIO, Communications Workers of America (CWA),International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW); several racial grievance groups: League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), Minority Media and Telecom Council (MMTC), National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), Urban League; and an anti-free market environmentalist group: the Sierra Club.

So too has the unanimous D.C. Circuit Court – led by a Democrat Bill Clinton-appointee – ruling in April in the Comcast-BitTorrent case that the FCC doesn’t have the authority to regulate the Internet.

Most importantly, FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski has himself said so. In an interview last week with the Washington Post, the Chairman readily acknowledged “(W)e have a Communications Act that wasn’t written for broadband.”

Chairman Genachowski is referring to the 1996 Telecommunications Act, the last time Congress addressed communications policy and the authorities the FCC has there over. Broadband Internet for all intents and purposes didn’t yet even exist.

The remedy to all of this is crystal clear. Congress should do what it’s supposed to do – write a law that defines and details the FCC’s role (or lack thereof) in regulating the Internet.

And the FCC should do what it’s supposed to do – unless and until Congress acts, NOTHING.

What the FCC must NOT do is unilaterally vote itself vast new powers under the cover of bureaucratic, post-election darkness.

Care About Free Speech in America? Read This!

Trevor over at New Zeal blog has the videos of Glenn Beck's show yesterday. Glenn discussed free speech, a right that is (supposed) to be guaranteed by our United States Constitution (but which the ObaMARXIST regime is actively trying to undermine these days) and Glenn did an excellent job exposing their unconstitutional, evil plan!

For someone who does not label himself as a journalist, Mr. Beck undoubtedly does the extremely important job that our current Lamestream Media of Mass Deception refuses to do! He informs Americans about what is really happening behind the scenes and why this gangster government (a.k.a. CRIME, INC.) is so corrupt, dangerous, evil, anti-American, and out of control! He does this despite the fact that he is continually receiving threats (even death threats!) from these radical communists who are intent on destroying our Constitutional Republic under the seemingly innocuous guise of "progressive democracy." The Fascist tendencies of the puppet criminals in office today and their wizard of oz manipulators are very clearly exposed, for all to see now!

However, when you view the videos of Beck proving that his predictions were correct, it's certainly not a laughing matter anymore. As I watched the video clip where Rachel Maddow (of all people!) commended Glenn on his free speech views, a glimmer of hope (the real kind) stirred up in my soul that maybe - just maybe - some liberals are catching on to the fact that the danger and havoc that this Marxo-Fascist puppet Obama and his powerful, rich puppeteers are inflicting upon America is extremely damaging to our nation! But then, my mind came back to the reality of their clueless, undying support, (no matter how much criminality he is involved in) for this evil man that they supported (and continue to support) in the 2008 election.

The TRUE glimmer of hope for our nation (the real kind) is the news that an incumbent Democrat, who voted for TARP, the stimulus, and the Hellcare bill was ousted in a primary election in West Virginia [see Wake Up America: West Virginia Rep. Alan Mollohan Loses Bid For 15th Term In Democratic Primary].
His contender ran against him telling the public that he opposes Pelosi's radical agenda in Congress and that he is against the ObamaSCARE HELLcare bill! Apparently, the soon-to-be former congressman has been in Congress since 1989!

The American voters are SERIOUS this time around. The November 2010 elections will be a tsunami wave, clearing out the clueless senators and congressmen who refused to listen to WE THE PEOPLE when voting for these awful bills! The wonderful TEA Party Patriots protests across the nation over the last 2 years have not been in vain! MILLIONS of American voters have been awakened out of the Kool-Aid stupor created around ObaMARXIST - and they are not believing his lying rhetoric anymore!!

Clearing out Congress and getting Republican majorities in both the House and Senate will make ObaMARXIST a lame duck until 2012. Can't wait to see that day! It will also mean the opportunity to de-fund the awful Socialist HELLcare bill; which needs to ultimately be repealed (along with several terrible executive orders that Resident Obama signed into law)!

White House Tactics Go Too Far [CORRECTION!]

When I saw the title of this article that was written by Charles Krauthammer and posted at Real Clear Politics, my immediate thought was NO KIDDING!!! It obviously took this egregious attempt by the White House thugs to crush free speech at Fox for the Media of Mass Deception lapdogs (who worship at the feet of ObamaFRAUD) to finally realize the White House has gone way to far! This WH's attempt to wield absolute power over the media is a VERY BAD THING!

Excerpts in quotes followed by my comments.

Rahm Emanuel once sent a dead fish to a live pollster. Now he's put a horse's head in Roger Ailes' bed.

Not very subtle. And not very smart. Ailes doesn't scare easily.

In case you weren't aware of why Sean Hannity often labels Emanuel as Rahm "dead fish" Emanuel - now you know where he got that title!

At first, there was little reaction from other media. Then on Thursday, the administration tried to make them complicit in an actual boycott of Fox. The Treasury Department made available Ken Feinberg, the executive pay czar, for interviews with the White House "pool" news organizations -- except Fox. The other networks admirably refused, saying they would not interview Feinberg unless Fox was permitted to as well. The administration backed down.

Oh GLORY! The administration backed down! See, they can't get away with everything. The media is catching on - albeit slowly. At least some of the MSM is WAKING UP and defying the deceptive schemes that are being used right now - especially with the health care bill and the cap and tax bill.

This was an important defeat because there's a principle at stake here. While government can and should debate and criticize opposition voices, the current White House goes beyond that. It wants to de-legitimize any significant dissent. The objective is no secret. White House aides openly told Politico that they're engaged in a deliberate campaign to marginalize and ostracize recalcitrants, from Fox to health insurers to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

Obama's two-faced mask was exposed when he formerly praised the U.S. Chamber of Commerce at the time that they agreed to his Stimulus bill. However, when they came out opposing the health care single-payer plan and the cap and trade bills, he viciously denigrated the Chamber! In other words, any group, or any PERSON who disagrees with Obama is targeted and utterly destroyed by the ObamaTHUGGERY administration.

Madison argued that the safety of a great republic, its defense against tyranny, requires the contest between factions or interests. His insight was to understand "the greater security afforded by a greater variety of parties." They would help guarantee liberty by checking and balancing and restraining each other -- and an otherwise imperious government.

Factions should compete, but also recognize the legitimacy of other factions and, indeed, their necessity for a vigorous self-regulating democracy. Seeking to deliberately undermine, de-legitimize and destroy is not Madisonian. It is Nixonian.

But didn't Teddy Roosevelt try to destroy the trusts? Of course, but what he took down was monopoly power that was extinguishing smaller independent competing interests. Fox News is no monopoly. It is a singular minority in a sea of liberal media. ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, NPR, CNN, MSNBC vs. Fox. The lineup is so unbalanced as to be comical -- and that doesn't even include the other commanding heights of the culture that are firmly, flagrantly liberal: Hollywood, the foundations, the universities, the elite newspapers.

Tyranny. That is what ObamaMASK and his puppeteers are all about! Their obvious contempt against WE THE PEOPLE of the TEA Party movement who came out in droves (1.2 million estimated) at the protest in Washinton D.C. are disparagingly labeled as "astroturf" by Nancy PeLIARsi. Their disregard for the Constitution of the United States is shown with arrogance beyond belief by Nancy PeLIARsi!!

Perhaps this incident will FINALLY wake up the former Obama-Idol adorers - and they will see that if the WH can try to shut down Fox News, who is to say that their news organization won't be next? That is - unless they "toe the line" according to the Hugo Chavez tyrannical way that news is done in Venezuela.

Obama's duplicity: first he says that he "wants to be held accountable" but then blames the Bush Administration for EVERYTHING! It has been nine months! The Stimulus didn't create jobs - we are hemorrhaging jobs at an astounding rate! The Porkulus didn't work - it was filled with 8,000 earmarks that benefited Obama's cronies and those who got him elected. Hello....ACORN?? THE MOST CORRUPT ORGANIZATION - PROBABLY IN HISTORY - EXCEPT FOR MAYBE, THE MAFIA!

Jake Tapper of ABC ask some real probing questions of Gibbs over the WH house declaring FOX is not a News Company… that was a dark and sinister move on the part of Obama.

Jake Tapper is now in the White House Dog house for that and is penciled in on the WH Enemies List… also the Anita Dunn video of her bragging about totally controlling the media has not gone over well with the other Media outlets. It is insulting and condescending in the extreme.

Christine, I believe the jokers at MSNBC, left to their own devices, would follow Obama into hell, howling like the loons they are all the way into eternal damnation just so they can get their daily dose of shivers up their legs.

The rest of the Fringe Media seem to have a sense of some propriety in there somewhere, notwithstanding their worship of Obama on a daily basis. They can not help but realize their nonstop Obama worship sharpens the tongue of FOX News as the sole stand out who is serving the public interest in the role of keeping Obama honest.

Additionally, the Fringe Media can read the polls and the ratings for each of the Media channels… and can not escape the reality of people are turning away from them and towards FOX News… and why it has been happening.

It is time this slobbering love affair with Obama by the Fringe Media come to an end… and then perhaps FOX News can relax a little not being the only one of all of them to carry the water.

In fact, I would even dare say that these States United have become a boiling caldron of justifiable frustration and even anger.

Accordingly, it is incumbent upon us to very seriously and thoughtfully examine those principles that we absolutely will never cede or surrender. We have already surrendered much of the freedom that was bequeathed to us by our forefathers. We are now to the point that we must define those principles that form our "line in the sand" and that we will not surrender under any circumstance. Either that, or we must admit to ourselves that there is nothing--no principle, no freedom, no matter how sacred--that we will not surrender to Big Government.

While deciding just what I wanted to write prior to posting an excerpt from a new WorldNetDaily article, something just "jumped" right into my mind. It was a scene in the movie, "Hook" where Captain Hook (played brilliantly by Dustin Hoffman, btw) asks the seemingly innocent and innocuous questions, "Comfy?" "Cozy?"

That scene had all the makings of someone who is sneaky and tries to appear good, kind, friendly, accommodating, all inclusive, concerned for the welfare (of his victims) and trying to "make nice" in front of them. All the while, we, as the audience, aren't fooled. We are privy to, and instinctively know, Hook's ultimately evil intentions and desires.

Yesterday, I spent a lot of time over at John Ziegler's website. Once again, it's "Blogment" time! Being that my time in limited for blogging today, I wanted to share a comment that I had originally posted in reply to commenter "Rebecca" in yesterday's post. She had mentioned that another radically pro-abortion person was most likely to gain a congressional seat in CO.

Earlier this morning, I received two emails on the topic of abortion. Here is the blogment:

I see Obama as the worst kind of liar. He tries to appear "neutral" by inviting someone like Rick Warren to the Inauguration (the gay activists are having a FIT about that) [Update: Oh boy...Obama's REALLY in the dog house over this!!], and claims that though he's pro-"choice" (code word for pro-death-to-babies-in-the-womb!), he wants to CLAIM to work to make abortions "legal, safe, and rare."

Ironically, I got an email from a dear friend this morning who shared this:

But to me it is kind of a charade in that people say 'We believe abortions should be safe and rare." He continued, "Don't tell me it should be rare. "I'm not satisfied with that. I want the Holocaust ended."

Voters Are Outraged, Saddened, and Frightened

This is going to be one of those posts where I am not even sure where to begin. I have gathered some links to articles, blog posts, and commentary that need to get out to all of the American people.

First, I was glad to read that the unrepentant domestic terrorist of the 1970's Weather Underground group - William Ayers - had his invite to speak at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln canceled.

Excerpt:

Friday’s announcement comes after Gov. Dave Heineman and several other Nebraska politicians asked the university to rescind its invitation.

“Bill Ayers is a well-known radical who should never have been invited,” Heineman said earlier Friday. “The people of Nebraska are outraged.

“This has gone beyond the University of Nebraska. It’s gotten to citizens all across this state, and they’re not happy because this is a public university.”

Heineman, appearing on Fox News late Friday, said he was pleased with the decision and skeptical about the stated reason behind it.

“I’m not saying I’m buying into it either,” he said. “But the bigger issue is we wanted this event cancelled.”

Heineman had called on NU President J.B. Milliken and Chuck Hassebrook, chairman of the NU Board of Regents, to tell Ayers to stay home.

Now that many people have done their own research (and, thanks to Sean Hannity and others who have been warning about Obama's ties to Ayers on talk radio for months) about Ayers, they are finding out just how awful his past associations and activities with this dangerous sleaze of man really is! Ayers and his cohort (and wife) Bernadine? Dohrn had to go into hiding for ten years back in the 60's and 70's to avoid prosecution! Unfortunately, due to a technicality, Ayers got off scot free from paying for his crimes with jail time.

Indeed. Voters across America have been outraged after finding out about all of this after the third debate.

The second post I would like to share is a website that lists all of the crimes and terrible associations of Obama. I was thinking of compiling most of my previous posted warnings about Obama's radicalism, socialism, ties to thugs and terrorists, dangerous ties to Muslim extremists, ties to radical Black Liberation Theology ideology, and all the other worrisome information that is being vetted about Obama across the blogs and the Internet. However, the following website did such a brilliant job of listing many of these concerns, I thought that I would just link to it today.

I have been absolutely horrified to find out that some (actually VERY FEW) acquaintances and even one or two relatives plan to vote for Obama. In fact, I recently received an email from a relative who not-so-subtly informed me that he and his family had a good laugh at his daughter's birthday party over my blog posts about Obama. (I'm sure this knowledge will immensely please any Obamabots that happen to read here).

However, I have this nagging feeling that those who support Obama may not be facing the reality of how his type of "hope" and "change" would turn our beloved Democratic Republic into a Marxist, socialistic, radical liberal-left policy-driven, silence those that don't agree, take your money and re-distribute to those who already don't pay taxes (e.g. Obama's "spread the wealth around" comment to plumber "Joe") kind of existence. I also see a future of the "Fairness Doctrine" (the oxymoron of the century) coming back under Obama and the Democratic Congress majority which would inevitably silence Rush, Hannity, O'Reilly, Levin, Beck, Ingraham, etc. of conservative talk radio fame.

I truly think that people have been duped by Obama. Just as the "Slick Barry" website states at the end, please come to your senses and:

The next one actually made me cry last night. It was too late and I was too tired to post about it at the time. This morning, I want to share the link to the story, but even more importantly, point out some of the comments of U.S. citizens who are expressing feelings of grave concern and horrible sadness at the frightening possibility that a monster like Obama could possibly be voted into office for the presidency on November 4th.

There is an API (African Press International) story about an alleged phone conversation that was taped where Michele Obama calls Americans "white racists" and lets it slip out that Obama was adopted by his stepfather, Lolo Soetoro and taken to Indonesia for several years. If true, both would have severe implications for Obama's run for the presidency. People are commenting at the website and begging API to release the tape-recorded conversation for proof that it did occur, and that the voice on the other end of the telephone was, indeed, Michele Obama.

Whether or not this story is true happens to be secondary with me (personally, that is). There has already been enough information out there that has convinced me how awful Obama would be as president.

We in America respect and understand your concerns. The Obama campaign has openly threatened many here in the US who dare to speak against their candidate. You are wise to tread cautiously. However, two of the greatest freedoms we have long cherished in America is our free press and our freedom of speech. With our own main-stream media refusing to report on most of these questions regarding Obama’s background, thus trying to influence our election process by omission, combined with intimidation and threats against those who express their right to free speech, it is heartening to find an online news source willing to do the right thing. Your professionalism is most appreciated by us here in America. We have not been experiencing this level of journalistic integrity for almost a year. We do understand that your paper did not intend to get in the middle of a potential political scandal and need to take precautions to protect your paper.

How could you know that a candidate for president of the USA may be trying to actively undermine our Constitution, which he would be sworn to upheld as POTUS, and if true would cause serious ethical violations due to the nature of his own profession, since both the Obamas are career lawyers; Barack Obama himself was a professor in Constitutional studies at the University of Chicago.

If the American media had been doing their job, this would never have become an issue for your paper, I’m sure.

Please accept my apologies for many of my countrymen in wanting the recording release. I hope you understand that they are not calling you or your staff liars, but it is mostly frustration they are feeling. I am an independent trying to decide who will be the better person to lead the United States of America as her 44th president. Senator Obama and Senator McCain have plans that will benefit me. I must make my decision wisely. I am trying to give Senator Obama the benefit of the doubt but there is the uncertainty of trust. His campaign has played the race card throughout the primaries and now during the general election campaign. If you have information that can make me understand the Obamas better, yes, that includes Mrs. Michelle Obama, then please share that with us before November 4, whether it’s good or bad. Let me and the rest of the American people have a chance to review what you have so that we can make our decision intelligently. While I understand your predicament, I do not want to vote for someone that I help elected to the White House and that person turned out to be someone who does not have the United States and her people’s best interest. I pray that you will have to courage to share your information with us before it’s too late. Thank you.

Dear Editor,

Democracy costs. Some pay with their lives. Some are jailed. Some just lose money. But, in the end, freedom is gained for everyone.

What would you gain by releasing the tapes? Your reputation. Could you lose some money in a lawsuit? Well an international lawsuit will take years, and as your reputation increases…just look at Matt Drudge….so will your pocket books—by the time it gets to court, you will have the money to pay.

As the man above said, you are more likely to get sued for printing the story without proof..lying about a candidate, than you are for publishing the tapes.

The Obamas would not sue you, after you post the audio, that would ruin their reputation, in America….trying to stop free speech, they were hurt badly by the “truth Squads”. But, they may sue for defamation of character if they are not released.

As I see it, you are the beneficiary right now, if you post the audio. Not posting it is dangerous to you. Follow your gut, journalistic instincts to get the truth out.

It is certainly understandable that you are concerned about your legal and possible financial liability. Any reasonable person can understand that.

You state that the delay to make public the recordings is expected to give time to Mrs Obama to come clean. Not entirely unreasonable. Releasing a portion of the tape would accomplish this.

However, your claim that you do not wish to affect the election does not have the ring of truth. In any case, if you release the tape before the election, after the election or not at all; you have affected the election. This burden is now yours and can no longer be changed.

The biggest question then is do you care to be on the side of truth or join the liars of this world. If truth, you should easily be able to release the tape without legal liability and should do it when the truth can be of value. If you wait, it suggests you have greater considerations than just truth. Which is fine, but as a news organization you must live with your decision and what it means about you.

I hesitate to write you at all because I understand some of the pressure you must be feeling. However, your own words have shown you are a bit wobbly on standing on the side of truth. You need to be firm and have courage. I’m hoping you are a proud member of the good guys (because the bad guys seem to be unrelenting.)

It’s tough being in the spotlight, but there you are. Please don’t make the huge mistake of waiting too long. You’ve shown that you can avoid the danger of haste. I hope you don’t let indecision result in the same danger. The truth matters. I hope you agree.

Dems combine to banish 'anti-gay discrimination'

"Section 8 of the bill makes it a crime to publish or distribute anything that is deemed a 'discrimination' against the homosexual and transsexual lifestyle," said a statement from the Christian Family Alliance.

Mark Hotaling, executive director for the Alliance, said the work of Gill and his homosexual lobby has been evident since Democrats took the majority position in the state legislature in 2004.

"But this is just so over the top," he said of the latest attack on biblical values.

He said initially supporters and even some opponents of the bill explained that there was an exception for churches and church organizations. However, lawmakers then attached to the bill a state "safety clause" which is supposed to deal with laws that are fundamental to protecting the lives of residents.

That, he said, simply stripped away any potential allowances for churches and church groups.

"Anyone who claims that there's an exception for churches really doesn't know the ins and outs of the bill," Hotaling told WND.

"So the religious exemption is purely window dressing and very deceptive," he said. "The Word of God literally now is banned, and that's a legitimate slam-dunk First Amendment issue there."

Also a horror is the provision for adults to be provided access to restrooms of their choice, he said.

The law "gives increased access for predators and cross-dressers to go into any bathroom they choose," he said. "The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children says predators prey on children where they have their greatest access."

What could better suit predators' purposes than the closed doors of public restrooms, he suggested.

He said his organization is working with Liberty Counsel to document the impact of the law, its provisions and what constitutional authority may be usurped by the state law.

"We're going to fight this thing," he said. "We're very confident that at least some aspects of SB200 will be thrown out, and perhaps the entire bill."

There have been no reports of prosecutions under the law yet.

"But it will happen," Hotaling said, "The danger is this legislation is not necessarily an individual complaint, but how it is weaved into the fabric of society. I heard … there are school districts in the state where elementary schools are trying to figure out how to implement unisex bathrooms."

The most important issue, he believes, is that churches keep preaching the Bible.

"If we're yelling anything from the rooftops, it's that pastors and churches should not stop preaching the Word of God and not to temper the Word out of fear," he said.

NAIROBI, Kenya – The government of Kenya is holding WND senior staff reporter Jerome Corsi incommunicado at the airport until he departs the country after police shut down a scheduled news conference in which he planned to announce the findings of his investigation into Barack Obama's connections in the country.

Corsi, the author of the No. 1 best-selling book "The Obama Nation," was picked up by authorities at his hotel at 9:45 a.m. and detained at Nyayo House, the provincial headquarters for Nairobi.

"Just as we were about to start the 10 a.m. press conference at the Grand Regency Hotel in Nairobi, Kenyan immigration approached us and detained us," Corsi told WND by telephone this morning. "Tim Bueler, my publicist, and I are now in the immigration offices, with our passports taken. The immigration officer told the press, 'There is no problem, and Dr. Corsi is a friend of Kenya.'"

Corsi and Bueler are booked on a British Airways flight to London tonight, an airline agent confirmed to WND. But Joseph Farah, WND editor and CEO, said he was in touch with Corsi until about 9:30 a.m. Eastern today and has not been able to reach him for several hours.

"We also hear unconfirmed reports from the government claiming it has 'deported' Corsi," Farah said. "Since Corsi was scheduled to leave the country today, this would seem to be a strange action from a government that was well aware of Corsi's presence, his travels and his activities in the country for the last week."

A senior immigration official in charge of investigations, Carlos Maluta was quoted by the Associated Press as saying: "We still haven't decided what to do with him."

Despite reports elsewhere to the contrary, Corsi has not been arrested or charged with any offense.

An official with the Embassy of Kenya in Washington said he was unaware of Corsi's detention. The Ministry of Immigration in Nairobi could not be reached for comment. WND tried again, later, to contact a spokesman for the embassy and was told by a receptionist the official word is that Corsi was not detained. "He's enjoying his holiday in Kenya," she said.

Yeah right...Corsi is "enjoying his holiday in Kenya." I surely doubt that being wisked away by immigration officials just before he was scheduled to report his findings is an "enjoy your holiday" moment!

How apropos is the timing for this snatching away of an American reporter who was just about to drop a hot potato on Obama's connections with Odinga?

Are they keeping him quiet until after tonight's debate?

Will the MSM report any of this?

Would they have reported this story if a pro-Obama book author was treated in this way in Kenya?

Isn't it amazing how all of the political talk given by Rev. Wrong was not vilified by groups like the ACLU (Against Christ, Loves Ungodliness) or the Americans United for Separation of Church and State? Yet, when churches desire to have their freedom of speech, freedom of association, and freedom of religion rights reinstated through participating in "Pulpit Freedom Sunday" - which is designed to throw out this ridiculous 54 year old ban - the leftist groups start screeching and complaining!! They didn't threaten Obama's church (because they know the church agrees with their leftist ideology) but they certainly are quick to threaten Christ honoring, Bible teaching churches with punishment - claiming that their tax exemption status will be taken away.

What is wrong with this picture, people?

"We're not encouraging any congregation to violate the law," Stanley said. "What we're encouraging them to do is exercise their constitutional right in the face of an unconstitutional law."

The 'kabash' was put into place under the Johnson(D) administration when the tax exempt laws were re-written to limit the speech within a church to not include political statements. A church should enjoy tax exempt status just as any other not-for-profit organization does. N.O.W. enjoys tax exempt status as does Jessie Jackson's Rainbow coalition. The Christian church contributes millions upon millions of dollars to charitable causes, and this alone should suffice as a valid reason for tax exemption. The 501(c)(3) tax exempt status is not equally administered across the spectrum. That alone should cause it to be trashed.

Slap in the Face Against Traditional Marriage

Mythbusters out in liberal licentious land may want people to think that:

There is no "homosexual legal agenda" - all that activists desire is "tolerance" and "equality".

Well, the following article will convince you otherwise! I encourage you to purchase the book offered at the end of the article. It will open your eyes (Just like the Marketing of Evil book did) to the real goal(s) of the homosexual legal agenda going on in America today.

These terms often mean different things to activists than to ordinary Americans. The homosexual agenda was outlined by activists Marshall Kirk and Hunter Madsen in a 1987 article titled “The Overhauling of Straight America,” and a 1989 book titled After the Ball.

These publications outlined a six-point strategy to dramatically change America’s perception of homosexual behavior.1 The six points were:


Talk about gays and gayness as loudly and often as possible.
Portray gays as victims, not aggressive challengers.
Give homosexual protectors a “just” cause.
Make gays look good.
Make the victimizers look bad.
Solicit funds: the buck stops here (i.e., get corporate America and major foundations to financially support the homosexual cause).

And this strategic campaign is not concerned with truth. As Kirk and Madsen said, "It makes no difference [if portrayals of homosexuals] are lies, not to us...not to bigots. We're talking about propaganda."


"Talk about gays and gayness as loudly and often as possible"

In “The Overhauling of Straight America,” Kirk and Madsen noted, “The principle behind this advice is simple: almost all behavior begins to look normal if you are exposed to enough of it at close quarters and among your acquaintances.”

The media has been a willing participant in this strategy. Conservative media critic Michael Medved remarked, “A Martian gathering evidence about American society, simply by monitoring our television, would certainly assume that there were more gay people in America than there are evangelical Christians."

Episodes of Will & Grace, and recently, Law & Order: SVU, have mocked those who have overcome homosexual behavior. Far from neutral, these shows attempted to discredit the effectiveness of counseling men and women who desire to leave the homosexual lifestyle.

After one particularly disturbing episode of Will & Grace, Mike Haley, a former homosexual who works with Focus on the Family, sent a letter to Jon Kinnally, the executive story editor of the show. In his response, Kinnally said:

“…come on, Mike, even you’ve got to admit that fags trying to pretend they’re straight is pretty funny. In response to your request for a meeting, well, I think I can read between the lines on that one. I’m about 6’1”, brown hair, green eyes, and I’m into rollerblading, baking cookies, and cleaning up afterwards. My dislikes include game-playing, negative attitudes, and condoms.”2

"Portray gays as victims, not aggressive challengers"

Despite demographic statistics to the contrary, homosexual activists have skillfully portrayed themselves as a victimized class in need of special protections. Closer examination shows just the opposite. According to The Human Rights Campaign, 82 percent of the Fortune 50 offer sex-partner benefits. What's more, a Comm Group/G Society study released in October 2001 shows that the median household income of homosexual households is $65,000 - compared to the national average of $40,800. Also, 47 percent of homosexual men and 40 percent of lesbians hold professional or managerial jobs - more than twice the figure for the general population.


"Give homosexual protectors a 'just' cause"

Activists have repeatedly turned tragedies into opportunities to advance the homosexual agenda. Matthew Shepard's murder was horrible: two nonreligious thugs shamefully and brutally killed this young homosexual man by hanging him on a fence to die. However, homosexual activists blamed this senseless crime on conservative Christian organizations such as Focus on the Family .3

Appropriately, the media expressed outrage over this horrible killing.

Yet, the same media was virtually silent when 13-year-old Jesse Dirkhising was raped and murdered by homosexuals. Dirkhising's attackers drugged him, strapped him to a bed, gagged him with his own underwear, sodomized him repeatedly, and tortured and strangled him. This gruesome crime received coverage totaling 46 stories. In contrast, the Shepard murder saw more than 3,000 stories published.4


"Make gays look good"

Kirk and Madsen were well aware of the potential problems inherent in revealing too much, too soon, saying, “In the early stages of the campaign to reach straight America, the masses should not be shocked and repelled by premature exposure to homosexual behavior itself. Instead, the imagery of sex should be downplayed and gay rights should be reduced to an abstract social question as much as possible.” They added, “First let the camel get his nose inside the tent – and only later his unsightly derriere!”

Homosexual activists are subtle in their public demands as well, insisting that they want only "equality." This statement is heard the loudest in their demands for homosexual "marriage." Yet their plans for the institution of marriage are much bigger, and much more ominous. Activist William Eskridge admits he hopes gay marriage "will dethrone the traditional family based on blood relationships in favor of families we choose."5

Michelangelo Signorile has told activists "to fight for same-sex marriage and its benefits, and then, once granted, redefine the institution of marriage completely...to debunk a myth and radically alter an archaic institution.... The most subversive action lesbians and gay men can undertake...is to transform the notion of 'family' entirely."6

Others tell us the goal is the abolition of marriage entirely.


"Make the victimizers look bad"

Perhaps most alarming is the growing trend of intolerance toward any individual who does not express complete and unconditional support for homosexual behavior. Betty Sabatino, an employee for a San Antonio bank experienced this animosity first hand. During a mandatory session of "fair employment practices," Betty participated in the question-and-answer portion (billed as a "safe zone") by asking why the company provided special considerations for employees based on sexual behavior. Her boss expressed "concern" about her question following the session, and within a few weeks, Betty was fired due to "management's loss of confidence" in her. 7

The Boy Scouts have faced unrelenting pressure and attack for refusing to admit homosexual scoutmasters to help lead and form the character of young boys. Columnist Mike Thomas of the Orlando Sentinel offered this opinion to the world:

"If I were the United Way, and all the agencies that depend on it, I'd build a big pile of wood with a pole stuck in the middle of it. Then I'd tie the leaders of the Boy Scouts of America to the pole, using only the most secure half-hitches and square knots. Then I'd rub two sticks together and work on that campfire merit badge."8

So much for tolerance.


"Solicit funds: the buck stops here"

The Gill Foundation reports that donations to gay and lesbian groups have grown to $100 million.9

In stark contrast, many organizations lobbying for family values are constantly seeking cash just to keep the doors open.
