San Francisco 49ers running back Frank Gore(notes) is done for the season, according to NFL Network. He left last night's 27-6 victory over the Arizona Cardinals with an injury and then came back for one more carry. But the pain was apparently too much on that last play.
And that makes sense since it is apparently a fractured right hip that has Gore down for the count, NFL Network reports.
Gore has 853 yards rushing on 203 carries this season for the 4-7 49ers.Brian Westbrook(notes) replaced him and rushed for 136 yards and a touchdown.
