Super Bowl XLV is February 6, 2011 and the NFL has announced that The Black Eyed Peas will perform at the halftime show. The Fox network will carry the game at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
The Black Eyed Peas are set to release their new album, The Beginning, on Tuesday. The album includes a brand new single "The Time (Dirty Bit)" that the group performed recently at the American Music Awards.
High-profile bands are always a part of the Superbowl halftime show. Past performers include The Who, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Prince, the Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney and U2.
