Landscaping Non-Places

(Some interesting, if not entirely compelling, photographs of roundabouts in France by Florian Kleinefenn, including the above image. It comes without a label, so we have no idea what we're looking at. We're guessing it's an aviary shaped like the spiral minaret of the Great Mosque of Samarra, its normally feral-vegetated chain link fence panels temporarily defoliated.
