Last year news broke of an upcoming biopic for the late rapper, Tupac Shakur. Now the search for the lead role of Tupac is officially underway.
The movie’s production company, Morgan’s Creek, is making full use of the internet for its efforts. Morgan Creek is hosting an online casting call with L.A. personality DJ Skee and Karmaloop.TV for the upcoming film.
Actors interested in playing “Tupac” in the major motion picture can also log on to InSearchOfTupac.com to upload their videos for reviews. The website will also help to keep fans detailed about key announcements and other opportunities to take part in the movie.
“Tupac” will be directed by Training Day Director Antoine Fuqua and executive produced by Tupac’s mother Afeni Shakur, along with LT Hutton, James G. Robinson and David Robinson.
Portraying the multifaced sides of Tupac is difficult to say the least, so prospective actors better go hard or don’t come at all.
