NFL: Aaron Rodgers cleared to Practice (Blog)

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers says he has passed all concussion-related tests and has been cleared to return by both team physician Dr. John Gray and an independent neurologist, ESPNMilwaukee.com reported Tuesday.

ESPNMilwaukee.com reported Rodgers sent a text message Tuesday saying he was ready to return after sitting out the Packers' loss to the Patriots on Sunday night.

Rodgers suffered his second concussion of the season on a scramble at the end of the second quarter of the Packers' Dec. 12 loss in Detroit.

Matt Flynn played well in Rodgers' stead and nearly led the Packers to a win over New England on Sunday. However, the Packers have lost two straight since Rodgers' concussion and face a must-win against the New York Giants on Sunday in order to remain in the playoff race.
