Timberwolves Trading No. 2 Pick? (Blog)

The Minnesota Timberwolves were the worst team in the NBA this past season. Help may be on the way for Kevin Love(notes) and his teammates in the form of a lottery pick.

The draft lottery Tuesday gave the team the second pick in the upcoming draft. However, ESPN reports that the Wolves are "very open to moving the second pick."

Minnesota GM David Kahn "really wants to add some veteran help to the team," ESPN notes, and this could be just the opportunity. Meanwhile, Kahn will also continue to work at trying to get 2009 No. 5 overall pick Ricky Rubio(notes) to leave the comforts of his homeland of Spain and move to Minnesota to play for a team that only won 17 games last season.
