Philadelphia Bullying Victim Gets Great Surprise on The View!! (Blog, Video)

Love 'em or hate 'em, those ladies on The View did good yesterday! Appearing on the show was 13-year-old Nadin Khoury, the Pennsylvania boy who was brutally bullied by a pack of teenage boys last month. He was there to tell his story in which he was dragged through snow and eventually hung from a fence post by the group he said taunted him because of his size, race, and accent.

"I was scared for my life," Khoury told the ladies. "I thought the gate was going to poke my body. I thought I was going to hurt my neck or something."

It was horrific to listen to and imagine any young person enduring such treatment, but just as you thought you couldn't cry another tear for this young man, many more tears were spurred. But this time they were happy ones as Elisabeth Hasselbeck introduced a huge surprise for Khoury ...

Out walked three players from his favorite football team, the Philadelphia Eagles: DeSean Jackson, Todd Herremans, and Jamaal Jackson.

"First and foremost, man I just want to say you're brave 'cuz this happens every day and people are not brave enough to stand up and take this on," DeSean Jackson said. "Man, bro. For real you're doing it, man. I just want to say I appreciate it."

Then he took the jersey from his back and handed it to Khoury. They also gave him a gift basket and tickets to any game he wants to see next year.

"Anytime you ever need us, I got two linemen right here," Jackson said.

"Just so you know, us too," Whoopi chimed in.

There were so many tears -- the most touching of which came from Khoury who was so incredibly moved by the experience. Talk about taking a really bad news story and turning it into an incredible, inspirational one that highlights this young man's courage and shows those bullies- and all bullies- what true courage and bravery look like!
