Is rumour about Lita ford's death really true

A rumor that Runaways singer Lita Ford is dead is burning its way around the Internet. Stories of a terrible jet ski accident have caught on like wildfire. Of course, people have desperately began searching to verify the news they have heard.

Is Lita Ford Dead or Alive? Death Rumors Hit InternetThe good news is that Lita Ford is not dead. She is still rocking (and hot) at age 51. The rocker is even scheduled to perform at Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort in Mount Pleasant on August 27. Tesla and Whitesnake will play at the same concert.

Ford, along with Joan Jett were hot items with their band Runaways in the 1970s, which the movie The Runaways starring Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning chronicled their success. In the film, Scout Taylor-Compton played Lita Ford, the band's lead guitarist.

Since her early fame with the band, Ford has become a sensation on her own. She will soon release a new album, which will further prove that she did not die in a jet ski accident. From the beginning, the guitarist worked to "prove to the fans that girls can play guitar." She certainly made her point these past four decades.

Will you be heading to see Ford and her long, blond hair tomorrow night? It sounds like the concert will rock. When the Runaways first hit the national scene in the 1970s, breaking down walls for the rocking females to come, Lita Ford was all of 16.

“And I was the oldest in the band,” she said, breaking into a dry laugh. “Joan Jett was 16, too, but she was born September 22 and I was September 19.”

A lot has changed since those days — most people now know Ford plays her own guitar — but one thing remains the same. When it comes to rock ’n’ roll, she still lets loose with a throaty “Yeah, it’s the best.”

Ford, back on the concert trail, performs Saturday, Aug. 27, with Whitesnake and Tesla at Mount Pleasant’s Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort. And when she’s not traveling, she’s in the studio, putting the final touches on an album she said is pure Lita.

Introducing Sungha Jung

“Hi, I’m Sungha Jung from South Korea. My dream is to become a professional acoustic fingerstyle guitarist.

I had been watching my dad play the guitar for awhile before I finally jumped on it myself two years ago. I just turned eleven in September, 2007.

Currently, I am taking weekly classical guitar lessons and teaching myself fingerstyle guitar.

I used to not have tabs for the music that I played in my videos. I just listen and pick them up directly from the sound source in videos available on the internet. However, recently, I have started playing with original tabs whenever they are available to me by courtesy of the authors.”
