R. Kelly To Hit The Road In Support Of 'Love Letter' Album

The King Of R&B, R. Kelly, is set to go on the road for his anticipated Love Letter Tour.

The tour will begin early this summer and will be in support of his Love Letter album, which was released on December 14, 2010. The LP pays homage to the classic soul music of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s and has been very well received by critics and fans alike.

Kelly has faced some hard times over the past decade. In 2002, he was indicted on 21 counts of having sex with a minor. The following year, the star was arrested again on child pornography charges. It was then a lengthy six years before the case went to trial. In June 2008, a jury found the singer not guilty on all counts.

The veteran singer seems to have put all of his legal issues behind him and is now focused purely on music. He still remains one of the biggest selling R&B acts of all times, having sold more than 34 million albums worldwide.

Keyshia Cole and Marsha Ambrosius will both join R. Kelly on the road. Cole released her album Calling All Hearts last December and British singer/songwriter Ambrosius will be supporting her debut solo album Late Nights & Early Mornings during the tour.
