Album Charts: Jay-Z & Kanye's 'Watch The Throne' Tops Charts For Second Week (BLOG)

It's a quiet week on the Billboard 200. It was slow enough for the Watch The Thronemania to continue, helping their top the chart in its second week.

Jay-Z and Kanye's collaborative LP comes in at #1 with another 177,000 sold (down 59%), bring its domestic total to over gold certified sales of 613,000.

Later down the rankings is Hov's wife Beyonce, and her 4 album, falling from 7-9 with 25,000 sold, and 679,000 total; while Eminem and Royce Da 5'9's Hell: The Sequellands at #13 with 19,000, as it nears gold sales.

Outside the top 20 is a new album from Boston rapper Slaine.

Opening at #172 is La Coka Nostra's Slaine, who dropped his new album, A World With No Skies 2.0, last week through Suburban Noize Records. Initially planned for release last year, the album moved 2,500 copies. It features the likes of Edo G., B-Real and Sean Price.

That wraps things up this week. To cop any of these new releases, head over toCDuniverse.com.

According to Billboard.com, overall album sales in this past chart week (ending Aug. 21) totaled 5.4 million units, down 10% compared with the sum last week (6 million) and up 5% compared with the comparable sales week of 2010 (5.1 million).
