Bomb exploded in a mosque inside the Cirebon Police Headquarters compound in West Java after Friday prayers at 12:50 p.m.
One man, believed to be the bomb carrier, died and a number of police officers were wounded in the explosion, including the Cirebon Police chief, Metro TV said.
The bomb squad have arrived at the scene and are currently securing the area.
All victims were taken to Gunung Jati Hospital.
