We Dont normally write much or add to much to the stories because we Aggregate News, but being a 30 year old raised in the age of Hip Hop, I wanted to take the time and speak about the influence that Nate Dogg truly had on Hip Hop in my eyes.

I was born in 1980, a time when hip hop was strictly boom bap, or  the exact opposite: commercial. As I grew older Hip Hop grew with me, it flourished right before my eyes. When I was just 13 Years old "The Chronic" Bust on the scene. I Remember my mom not wanting me to listen to it, but we would sneak and listen to it at the park, I would borrow tapes and make endless dubs of that G-Funk sound. I remember watching Rev. Calvin Butts gather CD's and tapes and run them over because that "music was influencing a culture of disrespect and hate". To me and my friends, it was music and we loved it! I remember when Above the Rim came out and "Regulate" was the lead single. It was nothing to see one guy being Warren G, and the next being Nate Dogg. At the time we didn't realize what that song did to hip hop! it changed it forever.

As time would go on harmony in Hip Hop became bigger and bigger. Ja Rule, 50 Cent, Bone Thugs N Harmony, even to this Day Drake, and countless other emcees have Nate Dogg to thank for Intertwining Straight Gangsta Shit into a song, and making it sound smooth and acceptable. So on this day I would like to personally say to all the Hip Hop Heads. Where Ever you ARE,Bust out your Tape, CD, MP3 of Regulators... and turn that shit UP LOUD, and Remember the Big Homey Nate Dogg.
