Actor Derek Luke has been cast in Marvel's Captain America: The First Avenger, it has been revealed.
Luke will play Gabe Jones, an original member of the Howling Commandos in the adaptation. In the Avengers comics, Jones is known as being one of Nick Fury's closest confidants. He was also the first African-American member of the crimefighting group.
Congrats to Derek! That's pretty big news for all of the comic movie -goers, don't you think?
