50 Cent’s tweets about dissension between him, Interscope’s Jimmy Iovine, and Aftermath’s Dr. Dre have had a positive effect on at least one of those relationships. The G-Unit leader recently returned to Twitter to reveal that he and Jimmy had a conversation and have squashed their beef.
“Jimmy’s not mad at me any more we kicked it,” tweeted Fif on Tuesday (February 15). “I just have to talk to Dre now.”
Just the day before, the G-Unit leader had taken to the social media website and said that his new headphone line had caused tension between him, Iovine and Dre and even hinted at releasing a verse dissing the two, shocking information for fans because of his one-time close friendship with the West Coast producer.
“Jimmy Iovine and Dre mad at me cause I’m doing sleek by 50,” wrote Fif on Monday.
“I’m a little hurt Jimmy and Dre feel like that but f*ck it. I’m focused I got a surprise for everybody this go round. Would you faint if I told you I just wrote a verse about Jimmy and Dre. Oh my god this is hard. This sh*t gonna kill.”
Rumors of problems between Dre and Fif have been popping up online for several months and seemed to have some credence after the New York MC took his label over to EMI
